-1, one of the entire points of mace is to be good at flanking/countering. This is a horrible compromise. A better way would for maces to be forced to move or make sound. or, even better for an engine...

+1, seems like a cool idea. Maybe they could go around HQ doing tasks to generate res for combine and in return they get a reward of some kind. Maybe they can be free to get resources a different way.
