Explain the bug:
A: There are several bugs I'm reporting and as a quick disclaimer I'm not sure whether they're intended or not, so I'll go over them one by one. First off, attached here will be two youtube links to unlisted videos showcasing the possible bugs:
Bug/Oversight #1 - Exoskeleton's synergy does not fully work (Video 1)
So, first off, from the three required perks to make Exoskeleton function, there is Hat Trick, a perk that has a peculiar downside that looks like only one effect, but it's actually two. First, it disables passive armor regen. Second, it adds an armor drain that makes you slowly lose armor over time. Exoskeleton's written synergy description claims it disables Hat Trick's armor drain. However, it does not disable Hat Trick's second hidden effect. This means an Exoskeleton user still is unable to passively regen armor, and as a result can only get their armor back by killing.
Bug/Oversight #2 - Hat Trick triggers on any kill whatsoever, not just direct kills (Videos 1 and 2)
The second thing we tested was whether Hat Trick would work on kills with things other than just guns, so I spawned a GRID turret (Second half of video 1) and then shelled the point that my testing partner was standing on (Video 2) to test if these types of kill would trigger Hat Trick. Both did.
Bug/Oversight #3 - Turrets can trigger Dragonfly (Video 1)
One of the perks associated with the Exoskeleton synergy is Dragonfly, which causes any headshot kill to automatically cause an explosion. This is all good and dandy, but as it turns out these effects can also trigger with Turrets when they (somehow) kill an enemy with a headshot. I'm not sure if this is intentional.
When did you first start experiencing this bug?
A: I cannot say when I first started experiencing these bugs, but today at 11:00 AM EST (During low pop hours) I got together with an RF PFC to help me test these bugs/oversights in a controlled environment so I can get rock-solid evidence of what I'm reporting.
