As much as I like to throw around the "unjust bans, not apologies" copypasta, mitigating circumstances are always considered and it isn't uncommon to accept appeals for permabans for less-serious offences, such as a single case of MRDM.
Anyone who thinks their perma isn't warranted is always free to appeal it.
