A suggestion for the way you get Resources from Points

Like what Brand said, this completely nullifies the definition of "rare" once you hit max common resources. But there's also another problem, not only will you have max mats, you can give those materials to the players through trading, and then get more, thus inflating the economy and causing it to fail. This will turn into a situation like the Great Mainstreet Market Crash of 2020, except on a greater scale. Pretty soon, everyone will have max everything, and thus progression stagnates.

Finding everything you need instantly isn't supposed to be easy, at all. RNG can suck. Loot tables can suck if luck isn't on your side. However, I can see this being a helpful addition to purely the lowest tier crafting materials that are meant to be common, but what you are suggesting specifically, completely nukes the rarity system after maybe a dedicated month or two of on and off grinding.

When i thought of this suggestion i only had common materials like polymer in mind
I should have cleared that up because now it sounds really stupid if this affected all materials

So with what you said i think it should only apply to common mats 100%
