What is your suggestion?

Add a gun that heals people and give it to Medic and Helix. I think the best implementation would be something like the medic crossbow from TF2—one bolt of burst healing with a significant reload. I think it should heal the same amount as a medkit. It doesn’t need to do damage to enemies like in TF2.

How would this benefit the server?
It would add a lot more depth to Medic/Helix in terms of skill ceiling and utility. The ranged burst healing would contrast well with the gradual short range healing of the medbeam. The medic classes have felt a bit redundant since everyone could revive their squad mates; I think this would change that.

The med beam also has its upsides, for example an assault class with like 2 or 3 helixes pocketing him can definitely clean house since they can outheal the damage especially with team player perk and if sword is running dmg resistance perks, then again when do you see more than 2 helixes deployed these days
