What is your suggestion?
A: Lower the AK-47's weight from 9 to 8.
How would this benefit the server?
A: I always found it weird how the 'standard-issue', straightforward weapon of choice for Combine UNION (The M4A1) is available for anyone else who has a carry weight of 8 or higher, and is easily craftable by having a low level requirement and being cheap to make.
However, its Rebel equivalent, the AK-47 used by Fighters, has the odd quirk that it instead has a weight value of 9. This locks it from several classes such as RU, R&D, GRID and RIOT. I don't really know if there's a balance reason for the AK to have a higher weight (And if it's straight up 'better' than the M4A1, why is that the case??), but the lack of symmetry bothers me greatly and I think making the AK be available to more players would help put it on more even ground with the M4A1. Especially considering both weapons appear to be intended as easily-accessible, cheap-to-make, low-level-requirement guns.
a ton of people say the AK is better than the M4 i think mainly due to the AK having like a 70 round mag option or something. Not sure about the damage
