What region are you located in?
Finland, Northern Europe - GMT+3 or EEST (Eastern European Summer Time)

Previous Warns?
No in-game active or total warnings (I do recall one warning for RDM about 8 months from now back in canals v4. I saw a civilian that looked like he was holding a weapon from a distance, so I shot them)

Previous Bans?
None that I recall in my time in the server (starting from late 2017)

Why do you want to be part of the staff team?
I'd like to join the staff team since I heard the applications are open and I've been considering joining the team for a long time now. Now that I've figured out my schedules a bit better, I think I can be active enough on the server for both administration and gameplay purposes. I feel like I could do a lot more to keep the server running especially on the EU side if I were to be a staff member.

Why should you be accepted on the staff team?
I have plenty of experience in managing servers, groups and people in general. I were a member of staff in a HL2RP server for about 2 and a half years and to my surprise that doesn't seem too different from being a staff member in a server such as CvR. Through experience and a few re-reads of the rules I would consider myself quite knowledgeable of the server rules which would make it easier for me to adjust to my new position if I were to be accepted into the team. I have some experience with the ULX Admin commands courtesy to my admin access on the Test server, but have rarely ever had a chance to put them to use.

Do you understand that you must change your Steam name to "[DEFN] (Username)" upon getting accepted?
Yes, I do.

References?
I've been up to a Senior Staff member in a HL2RP server called "CombineControl" up to two and a half years, but since the server had sort of died down I ended up resigning. Senior Staff would be somewhere close to Senior Admin in CvR.

An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?

If nobody makes a staff ticket, I wouldn't take action. If the civilian makes a ticket, I'd respond and ask for their side of the story and bring in the UNION that killed them. I find out both sides of the story and see if they match and take action accordingly.

An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?

Before I take any action I would make sure there isn't an ongoing event that revolves around a defecting unit. If there isn't an event going on, I'd bring the defecting player away from the base into a location that wouldn't disturb anyone's gameplay. I'd tell them that what they are doing is FailRP and can get them CKd and excommunicated. Since ignorance is not an excuse to break the rules (both IC and OOC) I would warn/kick/ban them according to what the correct punishment for defecting is. After that I'd contact Resistance Leadership and/or HECU COs and let them know what had occurred. I would let them know the details of the interaction and how the defector responded to the situation and leave it up to them to decide what to do next.

You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?

At that point I would report said CO to whoever is their higher-up and tell this CO that they broke the rules and it's my job to enforce them. This situation reminds me of blackmailing and I'm pretty sure that's an issue I should bring up to this COs higher-ups as well.

A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?

I'd perma- or IP ban the individual(s) threatening to DDoS the server, depending on my abilities at the time. If I can't do that myself, I'd bring evidence forward to higher ranking administrators such as Senior- and Head Admins to have the threat dealt with. Since raiding is basically one or more individuals inciting a larger amount of players to join and break rules of the server, I would say it would be the best course of action to remove them from the server as quickly as possible, all the while contacting higher ranking staff members to confirm whether or not the players threatening to raid should be banned or not.

You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?

I'd report it to Head Administrators and if the individual being reported was a Head Admin, I'd go to the Staff Team Leader immediately.
