What is your reason(s) for applying for Gamemaster?
I want to be a gamemaster so that I can make my ideas a reality, and I want to make fun events to keep the gameplay interesting and less repetitive to shake things up every now and then.

Have you ever been Event Staff or something similar before? If so, list your previous positions.
I've hosted events in a staff position before but never specifically an event staff.

Describe how you react to negative feedback, from constructive criticism to borderline harassment.
Obviously I'd listen to negative feedback so that I can improve upon my events but if people are just calling my event shit for the sake of calling it shit or are just harassing me about it then I'll ignore it.

While planning a server-wide Event you realized that it would make hosting it much easier if you had another Gamemaster assisting you, and manage to get someone to help. Unfortunately 5 minutes before the Event is scheduled to begin, they messaged you and said they would be absent. How do you proceed?
If I absolutely needed another GM to help me with the event like for example, if I needed something spawned in at an exact time on a certain point of the map while I also needed to spawn something in at that moment, then I'd get someone else to help me with it. However, if it's low pop or I don't need to do anything along the lines of my example then I can handle it myself.

While planning an Event, you decide to test some of the tools you think would be helpful. You go to the admin room, and start to experiment. Unfortunately, while testing with some NPCs the server crashed. How do you react?
I'd be shocked at the fact an NPC managed to crash the server, I'd let Sentinel know the server crashed, and I'd give him the details of what I was doing around the time the server crashed.

An NCO has finished training a Recruit, but there are no COs or Staff online to provide the whitelist. What do you do?
Whitelist the recruit.

While hosting a server-wide Event you have implemented a RP section where players can interact with a computer in order to open a door. Unexpectedly, a CO decides that they would rather that door stay closed (Presumably so that the other side cannot continue), and orders that the computer be destroyed. Given that the door is essential to progressing your event, how do you react?
I'd tell the CO that while they cant destroy the computer, they can roll against me to have it be temporarily disabled for about 30 seconds. They'd only be able to do this once.

While hosting a server-wide Event, a CmD/MAJ decides that they dislike it, and begin to openly attempt to get players to refuse to participate. This reaches the point that there are almost no players participating on one side. How do you resolve the situation?
I'd tell the Major/CmD to keep their opinion to themself, and I'd do everything in my power to get people to participate in the event whether it be improvising something new for it, or fixing what they don't like about it.

After hosting a server-wide Event, you are in the middle of a post-event Debrief when the COs present tell you to stop hosting your DB so they can host theirs. How do you react?
I'd tell them that they have to wait until it's over because the debrief was planned specifically for the event.

What permissions do Gamemasters have, both inside and outside of Events?
Spawning vehicles for crafting requests and for events, using the color tool on vehicles and enslaved units, spawning in weapons and pills, responding to staff tickets, and using tools that normally cant be used like headcrab canisters.

While preparing to host an Event, you notice that there are 3 vehicles deployed, and that the server is lagging a bit because of that. What do you do?
I'd tell them that they should undeploy to ensure the event goes smoothly but I wouldn't force them to because I'd hate to ruin their fun. If they don't undeploy I'll just wait until they either get destroyed or they have to undeploy by deployment rules.

Describe your design process of Events prior to queuing them.
First, I'd decide whether it will fit in the CvR lore or will be OOC.
Then I would figure out what the event will be about and what the gameplay will be like.
Lastly, I'd create the objects for it beforehand. For example, if the event involved a combine vehicle I'd have the vehicle built beforehand.

Create three Event ideas and describe them below. Be as detailed as you feel necessary. Originality is appreciated, and a lack of details will be penalized.

1. "Strange Blueprints"
Description: The Combine's GRID units have just finished designing a new combat vehicle and are transporting parts for it aswell as the blueprints in an airship to a location where they can build it at and ultimately begin reproduction of the vehicle.

Gameplay: The Rebels will need to shoot down the airship within 5 minutes or it will get away. The props comprising the airship will be welded to the world and unfrozen so that as the Rebels are shooting it down I can delete the welds using the undo menu in the spawnmenu to give the airship the effect it's actually being destroyed and debris is falling to the ground, not only that but this will also pose as a hazard for both sides. If the rebels succeed in destroying the airship within 5 minutes then the vehicle blueprints will fall from the airship to the ground where the rebels will then need to defend it for another 2 minutes, after which they need to bring the blueprints back to base and they will win. The Combine simply need to defend the airship and the blueprints before time runs out. Vehicles and push back classes are NOT allowed for this event.

2. "The V.I.P"
Description: A resistance informant is trapped somewhere on the map and the rebels will need to rescue the informant and escort him safely back to base.

Gameplay: Combine will need to kill the informant before he is brought back to rebel base, while the rebels will need to defend him and bring him back to base. If the informant dies they cannot be revived. The person playing the informant will not be allowed to sprint and they will also get 1000 HP and a citizen model. The event will start once the rebels find the informant in a house on the map and the door will be barricaded with wooden props which the rebels have to destroy to get in. Before the informant can be brought back to rebel base he must first be brought to a field hospital on the map where he will need to be defended for 2 minutes. After that the informant can be brought back to rebel base. Vehicles and push back classes are not allowed for this event.

3. "Wheel of Fortune"
Description: A fun event where people can complete a word puzzle to spin a wheel and get random rewards.

Gameplay: A RP area will be created somewhere on the map that will have the wheel, and people will have to get in a line to take turns completing the puzzle. The world puzzle will work just by using textscreens and will start out as an uncompleted word. The player will have 1 minute to complete the puzzle and as their minute goes by more letters will be revealed for the word until they guess it. If they guess wrong they get no reward, if they guess the word right they'll get up to 3 spins depending on how fast they guessed the word and how many letters were revealed. They can only take 1 reward from the 3 spins though. The way the actual wheel itself will work is quite simple, it will just be a motor with no friction so the reward choosing will be as random as possible. Wherever the line welded to the wheel lands is what reward will be chosen. Some of the rewards will be worse then others, while others will be better such as weapons and vehicles.

How often do you think GMs should host events?
I think weekly events would be pretty reasonable.

Do you understand and accept the following clause: I will not leak Staff or Gamemaster information, I will not abuse my powers, and I will not break the Gamemaster rules.
Yes.

+1 I've seen your grid builds and they are great, also you are very creative and could be a great event host. I really like your first event and 3rd event but I feel like your 2nd is good but could use some work. Your answers are good and I feel like you could be a good GM and I would be excited to see any events you host in the future if you get accepted. Good luck on your app

-1 from me
Nothing personal, but all the times I have been ingame I have seen you trashing on other divisions, and I don't believe your joking because you do it alot.

Answers are good, I just don't think your fit for a GM position.

The application and events are good, and the answers are alright.

The server-wide event answer isn't good, though. It's generally liked upon if you let events flow organically, and have the players decide the outcome. Railroading most or all of the event makes it unfun. Maybe if he destroys the computer, it alerts a Combine squadron to assault the area. Some unit drops C4 and they can blow open the door. Something along the lines of that.

However, taking into account with what Wizz said, you have to tone down on that. It doesn't really present you in a good light if you call a division or division leader shit, or any other distasteful things. If I was in their position, I wouldn't like being called a pedophile, or anything similar.
Otherwise, best of luck.

Curious to what you mean as in "trashing divisions" yeah sometimes I'll say like "haha eowa when unsucked cock" but I don't legitimately hate any divisions, just fuckin around in ooc. If this is frowned upon then yeah I'll stop obviously
