I wish to actively contribute to and help the server out in a more significant way. And even if I may not have much experience in this kind of expertise, I feel like applying for staff would be a great way to start.

An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing. What do you do?
I would go to the Civilian first to get their side of the story regarding what has happened, and then bring the Union separately into a sit to do the same. If both sides of the story do not conflict and the Union had a justifiable reason to kill the civilian, I would let the Union go and inform the Civilian about the conclusion. The opposite would mean warning the Union instead for RDM. If both the Union's and Civilian's explanations of what happened were to conflict with one another, I would make use of the logs to get a potential full picture of the situation.
Somebody had made a ticket saying they passed Sniper applications and that they need it’s whitelist, how would you proceed?
I'd check to see if this was logged within subdivision changes, or alternatively via the Outlanders discord itself. Either those, or I could also simply ask a Sniper CO for confirmation.
An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect". How do you proceed as a staff member?
Depending on the ranking of the HECU unit, I would simply observe the situation, to make sure the HECU unit does not break any real OOC rules in the process of defecting to the opposing side. IF the HECU unit were to be of CO stature, I would pull them aside aside and try to get some confirmation as to whether or not this was approved by high-command/leadership. If it was found to be approved, I would let everything proceed. If not, I would put a stop to it.
A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action?
I would check to see if this was a granted infiltration for the purpose of scouting the enemy base. In the situation that the Cross was simply scouting, I would let them go. If it wasn't, I would give tham a warning for spawncamping.
You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go. How do you handle this?
Remind them that they cannot demote me, or anybody else for this sort of reasoning, and then gather some evidence of this occuring to make a report towards the Major/CmD/COL/DvL regarding the CO.
A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules?
I'm fairly certain that this is either breaking Rule D4 ("Buildings that majorly disrupt player movement are not allowed", seeing as this ball could get in the way of the other players trying to play the game and capture points/shoot people), or Rule D3 possibly ("Buildings must follow the laws of physics").
A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it. What do you think you should do?
Get evidence, SteamIDs, ban them and then inform higher ranking staff of the incident.
You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed. What do you do?
I'd get evidence of what is occuring in the situation that what the high ranking staff member is doing IS actually breaking rules, and then ask somebody that's higher-ranking than them.
Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action?
I would take screenshots and then ban them. This falls under doxxing.

Your application is good. I have known you for quite a while and I can vouch for you with full confidence. You might not have much experience but that is fine. I have started as staff with 0 experience back in 2019 as well and it's easy to learn. And we need more Combine Staff and just Staff overall. So I hope you get in!

You are an established member of this community and your answers are pretty good. As for D4, that rule is mostly for huge prop blocks that block major ways. The ball situation really depends on how you look at it.
