List all (if any) previous punishments (Warns/Bans)

I only have two warns on the server, one being in March 31st for racism (it was still funny back then) and the other one being an RDM warn on September 7th for nading my own division's tryout (I'm evil like that).

What is your reason(s) for applying for Gamemaster?

I want to become a Gamemaster to try and help the good people of CvR, mainly by doing the passive things GMs do (spawning vehicles, crafting weapons, division shops, field artillery, etc...), but also by helping bring players out of the constant "spawn, shoot, die, respawn, capture point, lose point" through unique experiences, whether that be by hosting events or just messing around with people on the server.

Have you ever been Event Staff or something similar before? If so, list your previous positions.

I used to be Head "Gamemaker" on Revival's SCP-RP server, although I held that position a long time ago so I don't think I'm as capable in GM duties as I used to be.

Describe how you react to negative feedback, from constructive criticism to borderline harassment.

I can use people's constructive criticism to improve upon the quality of my events, whether it's story/lore wise or how they're actually done, so I wouldn't really have an issue with hearing people out as long as they remain constructive about it. :D
Borderline harassment on the other hand is something I can just ignore without much incident. If people are mean just for the sake of it I couldn't give less of a fuck of what they have to say lol.

While planning a server-wide Event you realized that it would make hosting it much easier if you had another Gamemaster assisting you, and manage to get someone to help. Unfortunately 5 minutes before the Event is scheduled to begin, they messaged you and said they would be absent. How do you proceed?

If possible, I'd try to contact another Gamemaster to cover in for him, although this would really only work if the event wasn't too complicated or if I had the time to explain what I needed him to do. If I couldn't find another GM to help, I'd either try to carry on with the event on my own if I thought it was possible or I'd delay/cancel the event.

While planning an Event, you decide to test some of the tools you think would be helpful. You go to the admin room, and start to experiment. Unfortunately, while testing with some NPCs the server crashed. How do you react?

The first thing I'd do is hit up Sentinel so he'd know what happened and get the server back up as soon as possible. I would also contact a Head GM afterwards to provide an explanation of how I crashed the server, both so he knows it wasn't intentional on my part but also because that knowledge might prevent someone from doing that mistake again.

An NCO has finished training a Recruit, but there are no COs or Staff online to provide the whitelist. What do you do?

I give out the whitelist without a second thought, I don't want our beloved recruits to be bored just because they can't join in on the fun. :D

While hosting a server-wide Event you have implemented a RP section where players can interact with a computer in order to open a door. Unexpectedly, a CO decides that they would rather that door stay closed (Presumably so that the other side cannot continue), and orders that the computer be destroyed. Given that the door is essential to progressing your event, how do you react?

If possible I'd try to let him know of the importance of the door to the event. If that isn't possible or doesn't work, for whatever reason, I'd either try to pressure him to change his mind through stuff like NPCs or I'd alter the course of the event to allow people to bypass the door without the computer or have it progress on a completely different way.

While hosting a server-wide Event, a CmD/MAJ decides that they dislike it, and begin to openly attempt to get players to refuse to participate. This reaches the point that there are almost no players participating on one side. How do you resolve the situation?

I'd try to ask the CmD/MAJ to sit the event out without dragging anyone else and let it take its course normally so the other people can enjoy it, and afterwards try to talk to him to see what his issue with the event was (if he manages to get other people to stop attending there might be something to hear out right?). If he refuses to stop I'd simply try to carry the event on to the best of my abilities (even if I have to change some details to compensate for the lack of people on one side); I'd also let the guy's higher COs know.

After hosting a server-wide Event, you are in the middle of a post-event Debrief when the COs present tell you to stop hosting your DB so they can host theirs. How do you react?

I'd tell them that I was already hosting it and they can host theirs once I'm done, as the post-event DB is important (for rewards or whatever other reason I am hosting it for) and shouldn't take as long. Assuming they're not patient or polite, and try to force their own DB, I'd gather evidence and report them to their respective higher ups, as well as call staff to deal with them in that moment.

What permissions do Gamemasters have, both inside and outside of Events?

As far as I'm aware, Gamemasters normally can only do crafting, vehicle scrapping, field artilleries, FOBs and R&D stations for Engineer/GRID, as well as taking PC/Leadership office hacks for SU/MACE, spawn vehicles for civis, all that good stuff and almost nothing else. While hosting an event however can do almost anything my powers allow me (like spawning NPCs, weapons, vehicles, prohibiting handpicked/vehicle deployments, blocking small parts of the map for specific events), except for taking staff sits.

While preparing to host an Event, you notice that there are 3 vehicles deployed, and that the server is lagging a bit because of that. What do you do?

I'd see if I could either delay my event a bit in order to wait for the vehicles to be destroyed/scrapped, or kindly ask the Techs/OVA to undeploy.

Describe your design process of Events prior to queuing them.

First of all, I would think of an idea without many details, just a bare bones idea that sounds cool to do in CvR.
After that, I would try to see how feasible the idea is to execute on the server (Can it actually be done with props/NPCs/entities/volunteers? Would it get players interested/participating? Would it lag the server? Would it came issues to the players who don't wish to partake in the event?) and iron out its details.
Once that is done, I'd ask other Gamemasters or people I know about their opinion on the idea, since it's always good to get a second opinion as relying on your own opinion for your own work isn't always the best thing to do.
I'd either get on the server or start up CvR maps to look for a good area to do the event in, although this is a bit harder to do since map rotation is a thing, and you can't pinpoint when a map will be used.
Finally, once I had the map and area chosen, a finished idea/plot, and all of those details I'd experiment with prop/NPC placement so that the event looks good.
And then I would finally queue the event.

Create three Event ideas and describe them below. Be as detailed as you feel necessary. Originality is appreciated, and a lack of details will be penalized.

1. I'm unsure how doable this idea is anymore, but it would be a sort of shop event that sells pills, HP/AP boosts and other cool shit instead of just weapons; this idea is inspired by something that I remember GMs did a while back, but that I haven't seen in a while (so I'm a bit uncertain how "legal" this is according to GM rules). People would pay in credits to buy a random pill, which would be determined by a roll (If the roll was high, they'd get something good. If not, they'd either get something not as good or outright bad). They could also buy boosts in Health or Armor, although this would cost less and would probably also be determined by a bit of luck in /roll. While I haven't seen this in a while, I had a ton of fun with it back in the day. :D

2. The second idea I have is one focused more on combat, but with Antlion/Zombie NPCs, and I'd preferably do them at times with lower population and PVP is less frequent. I would either just spawn them in on the middle of the map for both sides to fight them, or I'd do something a bit more elaborate, such as a Combine FOB fucking up and opening a portal to Xen, a field artillery breaking and shelling the map with headcrab shells haphazardly, an Antlion nest being formed or some other scenario that justifies the creatures appearing. The event would end when either the Combine or Rebels (or both :D) take care of whatever originated the problem.

3. The final idea is one that I have planned for an open map (preferably with train rails), and this event could either be used for Combine/Rebels or Anarchists. A Combine Razor Train carrying supplies would derail before it reaches the Combine base, leaving the supplies for any faction to grab. Combine and Rebels would try to protect the train until the cabins could be breached, where I would spawn crates with supplies for them to take back to their respective bases (for Anarchists it would be roughly the same, but I'd use Combine NPCs). Depending on the amount of crates each faction get (or depending on the type of crate, I still need to do a bit of research on if I can lable crates), they would get different types of loot, from ARs, tools and even a limited amount of Rollermine/Manhack/Turret pills for each side to use (about the same for Anarchist too). Despite all of this, I could replace the train with a boat if the map is on Mainstreet, since it has a nice body of water around the left-middle part of the map that I can take use :D

How often do you think GMs should host events?

Personally I think a GMs job isn't primarily with doing events but just ensuring that people have fun on the server beyond the normal TDM of CvR. Don't get me wrong, events (no matter the size/scale) are an important part of this and each GM should do at least 1 small event weekly, with 1-2 bigger and more developed events being done collectively every month, but perhaps a Gamemaster should focus on creating unique experiences for the players so they stick around longer.

Do you understand and accept the following clause: I will not leak Staff or Gamemaster information, I will not abuse my powers, and I will not break the Gamemaster rules. Additionally, I will add [DEFN] to my Steam name.

Yes, I do.

Do you understand the basics of using ULX? List what you know.

Yes, I do. @ on a command targets the person that I'm looking at, *  targets everyone on the server and ^ targets myself. There are several commands, such as:
!god @/*/^ (Makes the target unable to take damage. Can be removed with !god)
!cloak @/*/^ (Makes the target invisible. Can be removed with !uncloak)
 !slay @/*/^ (Kills the target)
!warn @ [reason] (Warns the target)
!noclip @/*/^ (Makes the target be able to fly and go through the map. Can be removed with !noclip)
!hp @/*/^ [amount] (Gives the target a specific amount of HP)
!give @/*/^ [weapon ID] (Gives the target something from the weapons menu)
