FULL RP Name(s):
Sectoral Commander Blims, RF WB F-8 SPC Stef

What is your current IG level?
37

To clarify, I've played CvR on my father's steam account as I was like 14/15 when I first joined, and have since been here for 4 bordering on 5 years (I am now 19). Recently I finally family-shared all of my games off of my fathers account onto my personal steam account, and got everything CvR-related transferred over to this personal account. Of course all my progress wiped, hence the low level, I believe the old account is sitting somewhere near level 70.

Previous Warns?
1x FailRP - By Angry Little Man - Can't remember this one [INACTIVE]

1x Spawnkill - By Gridy - Can't remember this one [INACTIVE]

1x Propkill - By Combean - Can't remember this one [INACTIVE]

2x RDM - 1x By Vexeer, 1x By Trench - Iirc these two were back during the SU metashield whilst I was an OVA CO [INACTIVE]

The [INACTIVE] means all of these warns were pre-change for whenever it was the staff team made all warns permanently active to prevent co-ordinated (i.e timed to avoid punishment when a warn 'expired') rule breaking. I believe that was at some point in 2022, can't remember.

Previous Bans?
1x MRDM (6w ban) - By Etzil - If you don't already know the context of this, there was a multi-stage monster battle event against Llamar the headcrab mass murdering everyone on the field, after his defeat there was a pseudo-player organised funeral with a pyre built and both rebels combine and civilians gathering at it in an impromptu ceasefire, I rocket trucked the funeral and hence was banned although people appeared to enjoy it as far as I was informed.

I genuinely cannot pinpoint the timeframe of when this happened, as the AWarn menu is scuffed if you aren't full-on staff and it doesn't let you expand the gui to be able to see the time a warn/corresponding ban was done.

Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences.
I've always had an interest in the staff team and staff related activities, but time to be able to commit to being a staff member has always been in question for me. It is now less in question, and my passion for being a staff member is still present - this passion if I get anecdotal never burned brighter than when I was briefly apart of the GM team and endlessly wanted to take tickets that GMs were not supposed to take. So yeah, help people out and keep things ticking along because being staff is cool Smile

Oh there was also a brief period where I had staff powers (moderator) in order to assist with a period of massively increased spawncamping, and I enjoyed doing so. Though I did ask for them to be stripped mere days later as they were ultimately not needed and the problem subsided.

Any staff who can vouch for you?
Perhaps? I believe I've interacted with most if not all of them over the years, whether it be in a staff setting or not, and I don't think I've necessarily incensed any of them.

An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing. What do you do?
After checking the logs to confirm the killing, collect steamids, and check the death-viewer thing to see the positions at time of death (as well as making sure there isn't some sort of event/judgement waiver type deal going on) I would bring the union to ask them their side, and then the civilian to ask them their side.

If the stories add up and it is accidental/unintentional I'd let the union off with a verbal warning, if it was intentional without a passable reason (ex: events, judgement waiver type deal) then I would warn the union for RDM x1.

Somebody had made a ticket saying they passed Sniper applications and that they need it’s whitelist, how would you proceed?
Seeing as everyone is required to go through with some sort of tryout post-application to actually receive the whitelist, and knowing that all COs can give out their respective whitelists, I'd double check the subdivision logs to see if they had actually gotten in, and then probably query the CO that logged it, before giving them the whitelist.

An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect". How do you proceed as a staff member?
Watch the situation as it evolves, as the HECU can RP-defect to the other side (depending on their rank - if they are lower than a CO then it's fine, if not then I'd pull them into a sit and get clarification from factional high command that the defection has been agreed, as is required).

Watching the situation happen is especially important considering that if the other side find out about it their infiltration classes may attempt to intervene, which is against the rules as defections are regarded as the same as a tryout/debrief once the respective unit is inside of the enemy base borders.

A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action?
As the CROSS was found inside of the spawn borders their guilt is probably guaranteed. I would bring them to a sit and check the last 5 minutes of their individual kill logs and use the death-cam to see how many times they spawncamped, and then apply the appropriate # of warns onto them from it.

You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go. How do you handle this?
Proceed to consult higher staff, as I'm uncertain what if any rule this would come under as I presume there is one (off the top of my head I thought RASR but upon thinking a bit more that doesn't make sense), and then likely inform someone of a higher rank in their respective faction of the threat made.

A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules?
Yes, this breaks the rules regarding builds outside of base areas following the laws of physics (D3)

A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it. What do you think you should do?
Grab their steamids, make a note of them, and then immediately ban them all. Inform senior staff afterwards.

You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed. What do you do?
Ask even higher ranking staff members whether it is/is not allowed.

Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action?
Grab the NCOs steamID and then promptly ban them for doxxing, inform senior staff of the ban.
