I want to be part of staff because I want to give back to the CvR community. CvR is one of the few servers that has provided me such a sense of hospitality, and has a great and caring environment. However, often times when I am on the server I can notice some down time where there isn't really any admins online. This leads to situations where staff is needed but people cannot get the help that they need. This can be from unwarranted team killing, to people needing whitelists for recruits or for different classes, to just general rulebreaking. Why should you be accepted on the staff team? Must be at least three sentences.
This will honestly be my first time staffing for a server if I'm accepted, besides a single DarkRP server that didn't last very long. I might also need a refresher on ULX. I do feel I should be accepted on the staff team though, because I look at cases involving two parties from both of their points of view. I also try to go with the most logical standpoint in my decision making. I will look at both sides with the same amount of respect, but I also know when one side is clearly in the wrong. I also have been extremely active, and I'm generally online about 2-8 hours a day. I can't recall in recent memory a day where I haven't been happy to log on to CvR and hang out with the community. Do you understand that you must change your steam name to "[DEFN] (Username)" upon getting accepted?

Not very sure how many, but I have been told by Sev/Bore he can vouch for me. An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing. What do you do?
At first, I will wait for a "sorry" in chat from the Union. Often times people do this when they teamkill on accident. If there is no sorry, I will private message the Union asking why he killed the civilian. If the Union doesn't respond and/or the civilian makes a staff message, I will bring the Union to a sit to figure out his side. After talking to the Union I would then bring the Union back to where he was before the sit, and then bring the civilian. I would then hear the civilian's side of the story. If the civilian has sufficient evidence and a sufficient story I would punish the Union accordingly. If he is a newer player, this would be a verbal warn. If he is experienced or has been in trouble for this before he would get a warn. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect". How do you proceed as a staff member?
I would bring the H.E.C.U. in a sit and tell them that they cannot "RP defect", unless if there is an event, and that they cannot enter combine base unless captured, enslaved, in a base raid, or playing combine in general. I would give the H.E.C.U. a warn for FailRP and then alert his CO's to the situation. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go. How do you handle this?
I would firstly gather video evidence of the CO stating that they will demote me. I would also get some photo evidence of chat through screenshots if they typed their message. I would then inform the CO that this is an OOC situation and this has nothing to do with my character in game. I would then continue with the sit explaining how you have to announce infiltrations in team chat, then warn him for FailRP and metagame. If he continues to threaten my RP character, I would also warn him for staff disrespect. Either way, I will contact his higherups with evidence concerning his behavior. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it. What do you think you should do?
I would immediately grab those players SteamID's and gather proof of them threatening the server. Then I would kick/ban the players for as long as I can and contact a higher staff member so that they can issue the proper punishment. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed. What do you do?
I would double check the rules of the server to ensure that they are breaking rules or not. If they are breaking rules, or if I am still not completely sure if they are breaking rules, I would start gathering evidence of the staff member. I would then provide the evidence to a higherup staff member, asking if what they are doing is allowed. If what they are doing is not allowed, then I will let the staff member take care of it.
