What is your suggestion? A:
1. Buff the MP5
2. Revert Mace running noise to old footsteps (not the new metal clanging ones)
How would this benefit the server? A:
The current state of the MP5 causes it to lose to most rebel guns on a tradeoff with its normal rounds especially and becomes a 60/40 with the 10mm rounds. As it is the base gun of most combine whitelist and the AK47 beats it outright in most engagements, it only feels fair to balance it to a state that it can go well enough on it's own without the need for attachments or to buff the attachments to make their change even more recognizable. As for the footsteps, with the new changes to the stepping noises, it has become even easier to ID maces being in your area just via the metal clang boot noises. I for one believe that while maces should be able to be heard for poor movement choices or just rushing into a location, the sound it makes over the benefit of quicker movement is laughable. I suggest reverting JUST THEIR RUNNING NOISE to the old running noise that while still being able to be heard, gives the Mace a lot more leeway to take bolder and riskier options (I used to still get ID'd by people with the old footsteps so it wouldn't be hard for them to hear us coming).

my brother in christ
you have invisibility, cswep, and the ability to pick your fights. you are apart of one of the single best classes cvr as a whole has to offer
you do not need a weapon buff, and you do not need a mace-specific buff including reverted footstep noises back to being near silent
the whole scope of your class is a stealth-kit, not to be a complete war machine. you get the advantage of being able to climb walls, be invisible, and be fast as hell. your downside is that you have less health and less damage.
if your complaint is that your footsteps are too audible to be stealthy, consider playing more into that stealth by jumping around the map and sprinting less
mace used to be feared because the people playing the class communicated extremely well, and did things together to negate the downsides of their class, not because everyone who played was a one-man-invisible-army
imo the running sound is too loud in general, i feel like i hear all combine from way too far away, and that's more noticeable with mace because of how big of a role footsteps play in finding them, so maybe just tune the footstep volume all together (unless someone has tested and rebel/combine footsteps are the same volume and im just trippin)
