+1 PLEASE bring it back, or at least give something to make anarchist fun again. I do think loosening RDM rules against anarchists would help resolve people's biggest gripe about anarchs, that being knowing one is going to shoot and not being able to do anything about it. this would also force anarchs to be sneaker, which is a fair tradeoff considering their funny 1 tap pistol. ime the rules kinda went ignored after playing anarch for a while anyway lmao

What do you think of my "Mask Up" idea?
sounds like it would be fun, three seconds is WAY too long though. imo it should be more like a mace uncloaking, very quick and needing immediate attention. maybe there could be a slower, quieter one and a faster, louder one.

anarchist has 100 health if they cant get the jump on people they will never win a fight ever. getting people while they're not looking is like, fps game 101. classes like recon or mace are built around it, but every class can flank people if they feel like it.

But we cannot allow them to have such precise control over when an engagement occurs that they can wait and strike at the exact moment their victim is defenseless. The whole point of the strategy is to prevent the other player from being able to do anything. And that is fucking annoying for them. The way you fix Anarchist is by altering the amount of control they have over when and how fights begin. While I doubt 3 seconds is perfect, it can be tweaked. My Mask up idea seems to be the only one with this variability.
Besides, anarchist can raid lockers to get better gear and 100 ap

mace exists lmao. the biggest problem with anarchist was never the class itself, its the meta shield that makes it so annoying. i like the idea of the mask denoting when an anarch is kos, but if its too slow it just wont be fun. making reasonable suspicion a good enough reason to kill an anarch would make them a lot less annoying to fight. dying is part of the game, while there are valid objections to how anarchist was lots of it is just cope from people with tunnel vision. in the end, its a skill issue.
