Timezone: Central Daylight Time Previous Punishments? 1 Count of Racism, I had taken a 2 month break from CvR, and when I came back, I thought that you could still say the n word, but that was not the case.
2 Counts of RDM, They have both been for mistaking an Anarchist/Civilian for a rebel at a long distance.
3 Counts of FailRP, They were when I didn't know certain rules, or Meta-gamed. What's your reason for becoming Gamemaster? I want to become to become a GameMaster because CvR gets boring at times and I don't see very many events going on, I would assume that the GameMasters are busy or don't have time to host an event. If possible, I would like to try to help out my fellow GameMasters and pick up some slack. I would like to try and do 1 or 2 events a week, so that I can keep the server fresh and allow some people, aswell as myself, to have fun. I'm also a story writer and with that, I would like to test things out to see if my little ideas will work. But all in all, I want to be a GameMaster so I can have some more fun, aswell as allowing others to have more fun through events or something along those lines. Have you ever been Event Staff or anything similar on other servers? If so please list below. I have not been event staff before, so if I get accepted, it'll be my first time. Explain how you take criticism from other people, from constructive to border-line harassment. I take criticism from people in a positive way and always try to take something from it. If someone tells me that my event was trash, I'll ask them why, and when I find out why, I'll try to improve upon what they had an issue with, so that I can make my events more enjoyable. When it comes to border-line harassment, I tell the person to stop and try to keep my cool and ignore them. If it does somehow turn into harassment, I would call an actual staff member to deal with the issue. A Combine CmD has openly expressed their distaste for an event you're doing at that moment. It has gotten to the point where he is actively disrupting your event. What is your course of action? I would first tell them to stop and warn them to stop aswell, if it continued I would bring them to a private area and talk to them, find out what the issue is, and try to fix it, but if it gets too out-of-hand, I would jail them, or call a staff member to get them to stop. A Resistance Fighter starts PMing you with some questions about a recent event you've done. However, because you were AFK, he has started harassing you. What is your course of action? I would ask him why he was harassing me, and try to talk it out and resolve the situation, but if that does not work, I would call upon staff to get them to stop. What are GM's permissions both inside and outside of events? When you are inside the event, a GameMaster can spawn, kill, and do whatever they have been approved for doing during their event. Outside of events, a GameMaster can help people that are stuck and help answer questions or try to help players with problems that they have, while still remaining withing they're limits of power. You are hosting an important Post-Event DB and all of a sudden, the CO's ask you to leave so they can do their DB and exclude yours. What is your course of action? I would ask them if they could possibly wait, if they could wait, then I would carry on, but if they couldn't wait, then I would try to mix my DB into their's, but if they wouldn't let me even integrate mine into theirs, I would get staff, due to the event already being schedualed, and the CO should've know that. A Gamemaster who said he would be assisting you in an event later on today hasn't shown up and now the event is running behind schedule. What should you do? I would try to contact them, and if they cant help, or don't respond, I would try to get help from other GameMasters or staff, so that I could still pull off the event, and not have the event be insanely late. After getting a green light on an event, you notice there are 3 vehicles deployed at once. It is causing a little lag, what is your course of action? I would ask the vehicle drivers to undeploy the vehicles, or wait for them to be destroyed/redeployed. If they refuse to undeploy or start being rude to me for asking them to undeploy, I would get staff members involved to try to get them to undeploy, or remove the vehicles. What's the process GM's take before making events, from start to finish. (This is what YOU think) A GameMaster should clear out an area that the event would take place, they should set up borders saying something along the lines of "Hey! I'm building an event over here!" They should then build and set up the event, and try to correct any issues that are found while building, or during the event. They should then announce the event and bring all of the players that are participating in the event to one place and give a debrief on the event, then when everyone and everything is ready, they should then start the event. During the event they should try to fix any flaws, watch over the players participating in the events, and help anyone that needs help, in the event. When the event is done, they depending on if there is anything to say, or give out as rewards, they should host a debrief with the players participating and give out the prizes, or say what needs to be said. A Resistance Captain is openly criticizing your event when he isn't in the event itself. It has gotten to the point where he is interrupting your important adverts relating to the event. What should you do? I would go have a friendly chat with the Captain and tell him to stop disrupting the event, I would also ask them what they're problem with the event was. If they do not stop, then I would get staff involved, so that I could then continue with my event and not get behind on timing. How often do you think GM's should host events? I feel like a GameMaster should try to host at least 1 event a week, and if possible, 2 or 3 a week. Or atleast that's what I would like to try to do. List three events that you might do if you get accepted (DETAILED AND BE ORIGINAL) [Campaigans and RP Situations are EXCLUDED] My first idea is to do a zombie survival type of event where a group of rebels have to survive waves of zombies, and if anyone dies, then they get infected aswell. The zombies would grow in toughness and numbers each round. It would go on until the final person dies, or survives the final round. My second idea is to have a Juggernaut type event, where a group of people try to kill the Juggernaut, before they are killed themselves, or the Juggernaut gets to where he needs to be. My third idea is to have an escort type event where a group of Combine have advance to a building, while guarding a vehicle, the vehicle can only move when combine are near it. The rebels have to try and stop the advancing combine, by moving the vehicle back and wait out the timer. The vehicle would be moved backwards when there are rebels near it. The combine would have checkpoints that the vehicle could not be moved back from. It's sort of like Payload in TF2. Do you understand and accept the following clause: I will not leak staff information in gamemaster channels or otherwise. I will not abuse my powers in-game or otherwise. I must add [DEFN] to my steam username as soon as I get accepted. Yes I do agree to and understand the clause. Do you understand the basics of ULX? (If so, list basic commands below) Yes I do.
neutral leaning towards negative.
it looks like a lot of effort went into your application, but the answers are kinda wack. also your events are generic/bad ideas.
you seem passionate about becoming a gm, but i just think you need to work a bit more on your answers then it will be good.
I fixed my Steam ID, fixed my reason as to why I would like to be a GM, so I don't sound like a dick, and I also changed some of the situational questions.
+1 Sweet! you fixed stuff and took criticism well like you said you would. i believe, even if ya need a lil work, you show the drive to be a great GM keep it up buddy
Update, I got another warn for RDM because I didn't know an Anarchist had to be armed to shoot them, even when you are an anarchist.
Also one for RDM aswell, I was in the gunner seat of a T90, the driver backed into a wall, so I couldnt see anything, so I just started firing and I killed one or two rebels that were just leaving their base borders, I was an Anarchist by the way.
And another for RDM, the server was lagging to shit and some anarchist went into a cl 1 zone, then rubberbanneded, and I killed him, but appearently he never went into the cl 1 zone.
And another for racism, Because an anarchist can say the N word, yet I cannot. Kinda see it as bs.

Your application is okay, but I really don't know you as a player or anything you do. Judging by what I've heard I'm a Neutral.
