Because I wanna host events and make the server have more of a point then just "Walk around and kill the enemy". Also, it is indeed quite annoying whenever it takes forever for a GM to go to an anarchist raiding a locker, and then the anarchist gets killed cause the GM didn't come in time. It happens, and I wanna prevent this. Have you ever been Event Staff or anything similar on other servers? If so please list below. Not event staff, but I have been a Moderator and am currently an admin on a server. Explain how you take criticism from other people, from constructive to border-line harassment. Constructive: I would take it nicely, as this type of criticism is the best. I would listen to what the person has to say, and ask them other questions so I could understand anything that they have said. Harassment: I would try to ignore them at first, but eventually this gets in the way of actually being able to play on the server. I would teleport to them, ask them why they are harassing me, and if they have no reason, tell them to stop. A Combine CmD has openly expressed their distaste for an event you're doing at that moment. It has gotten to the point where he is actively disrupting your event. What is your course of action? I would warn him multiple times A Resistance Fighter starts PMing you with some questions about a recent event you've done. However, because you were AFK, he has started harassing you. What is your course of action? Goto him, ask him why he is harassing me, tell him I don't like that, and if he wants to speak to me once again, ill talk to him. If not, ill tell him to stop and go back to my business. What are GM's permissions both inside and outside of events? Well a gamemaster has to keep check on the anarchists stealing from lockers, and has basically the same responsibilities as staff. Inside an event is where you must keep everything managed, answer questions, and end the event correctly. make sure everybody has fun on the server. You are hosting an important Post-Event DB and all of a sudden, the CO's ask you to leave so they can do their DB and exclude yours. What is your course of action? I would merge the debriefs, talk about the event, hand out rewards, and then allow the COs to take over. A Gamemaster who said he would be assisting you in an event later on today hasn't shown up and now the event is running behind schedule. What should you do? Host the event without him, he is late, it's his fault. We can't keep the people waiting. After getting a green light on an event, you notice there are 3 vehicles deployed at once. It is causing a little lag, what is your course of action? Ask the deployed vehicle drivers to undeploy so that lag will be reduced and I can start making the event. What's the process GM's take before making events, from start to finish. (This is what YOU think) Well first you have to think of the event, come up with ideas, and make sure that the higher staff agree with what i'm gonna be doing. Then i have to find a way and a time to create this event, as if I didn't then the event would be chaos. Once that is sorted out, I would take a certain area of the map, close it off, and make sure this is clear to the people so they don't mess with the event, and start building. Depending on the type of event, I would either have a serverwide event, or a normal closed event. After the event is over, have a db (If its a serverwide event), remove the props, and everything will be accounted for. A Resistance Captain is openly criticizing your event when he isn't in the event itself. It has gotten to the point where he is interrupting your important adverts relating to the event. What should you do? I would tell him to stop, and that he knows better then to mess with my event whenever he is not supposed to. No matter who it is, they should know not to mess with gms and their events. How often do you think GM's should host events? Once a day, not too much, not too little. List three events that you might do if you get accepted (DETAILED AND BE ORIGINAL) [Campaigans and RP Situations are EXCLUDED] 1: My first event is a team deathmatch. Depending on the number of people, I will split them into teams. There will be the Black team, and the Purple team. Each side will be colored properly, I will make an arena with slight twists and slight turns, give them weapons(Most likely a pistol), give them 40 health, and let them fight. Best out of 3. Winner gets Shotguns, loser gets Pistols as a "reward".
2: My second event is a hide and seek event. I will take Church as my arena, build some props to have hiding spots. There will be seekers, and hiders. Seekers have 200 health, and hiders have 50. Seekers get a pistol, and the hiders get a crowbar. It will be possible to take out the hiders, so the event will be fun. Best out of 1 round. Winners gets the losers souls. They will have 5 minutes. They will rotate each one time, whoever wins in the shortest time wins the event.
3: My 3rd and final event is a skirmish. The people who join my event will be places in church with some cover and a turret. There will be 10 waves of enemies, each getting harder each round. If they get to Round 3, they will get Pistols. Round 5, SMGs, Round 7, Rifles, and Round 10 (winning) they get shotguns. They will be recieving various weapons, as there will be 3 classes. Assault, Heavy, and Medic. There is no limit on assault, but there can only be 1 medic, and 1 heavy. Heavy gets the RPG, and an LMG. Medic gets the MP9, defibs, health and armor kits, and Assault gets the M4A1. Once you die, you will have to wait 1 round to respawn. (So if you die on round 1, you can't respawn till round 3) Heavy will get 200 health and 100 armor, Medic gets 100 health and 50 armor, and assault gets the standary 100 health, and 100 armor. Do you understand and accept the following clause: I will not leak staff information in gamemaster channels or otherwise. I will not abuse my powers in-game or otherwise. I must add [DEFN] to my steam username as soon as I get accepted. Yes Do you understand the basics of ULX? What's your reason for becoming Gamemaster?

Not event staff, but I have been a Moderator and am currently an admin on a server.
Explain how you take criticism from other people, from constructive to border-line harassment.
