I have moderated many gmod servers. I have prior experience as gamemaster on 3 different 1942rp rp servers and I even owned my own server. It was a soviet rp that had 100+ members named Singularity Networks. I am here to help people and make sure they have an amazing time on the server. I have talked with a lot of people and I am trying to get more known in the community. I will take as many tickets as I can to help new players. Any staff who can vouch for you? I'm not sure they're may be a few. I've spoke to a few staff members. An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do? Bring the civ to a rooftop for a sit. Ask them to provide proof. If the proof they provide is valid I would then bring the MPF union to the rooftop. I will then let them both one at a time explain there sides of the story. If this was RDM. If its a super new player or they have no prior offenses I would tell them there wrongdoing and let them go. If its an older player or someone with prior offenses I would explain to them what they did and !warn them. I would tell them my name and provide a link to where to appeal the warn. I would then end the sit returning both people. Somebody had made a ticket saying they passed Sniper applications and that they need it’s whitelist, how would you proceed? I would ask first if they have any proof . If they do I would give them it. If they do not I will check the logs. Still if nothing I would ask a sniper CO. If they say yes or if it was logged I'll give the whitelist. If not and the CO say's no I would ask tell them not to make false sits or they will have to re-do the tryout. An H.E.C.U. How do you proceed as a staff member? I would bring them to a sit and tell them they cant defect. If its a new player I would verbal warn them an tell them what they did wrong. If not new I would !warn them. I would also tell there CO and provide proof of what they just did. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. Firstly check logs to see how many people died. See if they had requested permission to go in at all. Provided they didn't do any of this I would bring them to a sit tell them what they did wrong then !warn them. I would then tell the CO with proof.
You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this? I would firstly ignore the CO not paying mind to it telling him the warn is valid. I would then clip/screenshot the CO saying he will demote me and send it to higher ups. A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules? Yes, under rule D3 it states the following "All props must be either frozen or constrained to a prop that is frozen".
A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do? Take screenshots and clips and grab all there steamids. Then ban them for max possible time and forward it to a higher up. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.

If the IP is most likely fake and looks fake warn them not to do it EVER again and tell them how serious it is. If its a real ip even random ban them and take there steamids and proof and send it to higher ups.

But you are a very new player!! I highly recommend you play for a bit longer before applying for staff
