I have not played for the longest but I find the server very fun and have put in many hours into it and plan on putting in more. As a member, I see that a lot of times there is not a lot of staff on when I play and want to change that. As I have played for some time I have learned the rules over time so I know most of them off my head. I want people to be able to enjoy the server at all times without any rule breakers and I want to help everyone at times when there is no staff on. Why should you be accepted on the staff team? I got good common sense and knowledge about most ulx commands as well as how staff duties works. I am a very non-biased and respectful person when it comes to dealing with staff duties and does not favor anyone because of their status or how close they are to me. I am a chill person and explain stuff calmly and do not lose my head if people keep screaming over me. Do you understand that you must have "[DEFN]" tag in your Steam name whenever you join CvR? Yes Any staff who can vouch for you? Graycat as I know of. An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do? I would ask if the civilian got any proof of the union killing him without any reason if he would have proof and the proof shows that the union killed him for no reason I would bring the MPF and tell him what he has done and that it counts as RDM to kill a civilian for no reason. Then I would warn the union for RDM since he did break a rule. If no proof can be provided I would let it go but keeping an eye on the Union if he does something like that again. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member? I would teleport the HECU out of the base and tell him it is not allowed to enter their base if not infiltrating or scouting using the correct classes. If he did no harm I would give him a verbal warning, but if I see him do it again for the same reason I would warn him. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?
First, I would explain that he needs to type in team chat if he is going to infiltrate the enemy base. Then I would tell him it does not work that way to demote someone for staff reasons and contact his higher-ups telling them of his actions. Since he was aggressive from the start I would warn him for infiltrating without announcing it in team chat. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do? I would ban them if I had the power to then alert higher-ups of the situation. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
