My server activity has ticked up recently, so I should be able to be on the server quite a lot to help with the demand for staff. Additionally, I have quite a lot of previous staffing experience to lean on, including experience using ULX and warning systems. Why should you be accepted on the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences.: I believe I should be staff because I have a lot of previous experience across several servers. In addition, I don't get mad very easily, so you won't see me babyraging in OOC chat or letting my anger get the better of me during sits. I also will not take my opinion of people, sides or divisions into account when making decisions about sits, as I hate tribalism in all its forms and would never want to contribute to something like that. An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?: Pull the Union and Civi aside separately and ask them both what happened, then act accordingly (either explain to the UNION why he shouldn't have killed the Civi, or explain to the Civi why he was killed). An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?: Warn the HECU, after explaining to them that they aren't allowed to "RP Defect". I would also report this incident to their COs. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?: I handle the sit as I normally would (warn, etc.) and either screenshot or clip the encounter to submit to their leadership so they can be punished accordingly. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?: Ban the people threatening to raid/DDOS the server. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?: Ask the staff member why they're doing what they're doing. If I'm still suspicious after asking, I'd clip what they were doing and approach someone else about it.
Your extensive past experience with ULX alongside your frequent activity on the server is something the staff team could use greatly.
Alongside this, I can personally vouch that you are trustworthy in positions of power and when given the opportunity to do what is right regardless of yourself, something I struggle to do.
