What is your suggestion?
A: Give attackers in base raids 5 or 3 minutes to attack upon crossing in the base borders instead of one life. Once they enter and the timer starts, the attackers AND defenders are alerted with a staff advert.
How would this benefit the server? A: Base raids often make for the highlight of a given play session. Thats why it's a shame they typically end so quickly. B: It's no fun to be the first few defenders to be eliminated. C: As for the alert the defenders receive, it prevents total stealth raids (raids where the attackers get in and out with the defenders none the wiser, which I find unentertaining for both parties) without letting the defenders get too prepared.
+1, I fully agree with this, this is an amazing idea.
The Admin or SGM hosting the raid can @@ and keep track of the time, this would make base raids so much more fun & interesting.

+1, Base Raids can be god awful from time to time.
+1 However, I feel like transport vehicles should be permitted to enter the enemy base to simplify the transporting part (however no attacking whatsoever).
Standing outside the spawn rooms is not okay in any regard and the "But its a raid" is not an excuse. Being inside the base for the 10-minute period and actually being on the OBJ is okay. People who "don't like being spawn camped" are not being spawn camped if the rules are followed and are supervised by the raid host, even so it's only for 10 minutes + the BR cooldown.

Most mobile phones have built in timer apps that would be perfect for this.

With that in mind, I do have one thing to add. What if the only spawnpoint that could be used is on an APC? Gives the defenders an optional mission that, should they destroy it, results in a massive cripple to the attackers.
