What is your reason(s) for applying for Gamemaster?

I've always been more of an that makes the gameplay fun for others.
I personally enjoy and love doing this kind of stuff and I feel like the server needs more events, I like to entertain people.

Have you ever been Event Staff or something similar before? If so, list your previous positions.

I've been Event Staff on other games. Like Unturned( which has a lot of freedom when it comes to events), CS:GO and Minecraft.

Describe how you react to negative feedback, from constructive criticism to borderline harassment.

I find negative feedback as way to improve my actions and future events. Criticism is part of doing something new and improving that something you want to perfect.
Borderlin
e harassments are just a very minor inconveniences that are easy to deal with. I do not take anything personal and it doesn't affect me a bit.

While planning a server-wide Event you realized that it would make hosting it much easier if you had another Gamemaster assisting you, and manage to get someone to help. Unfortunately 5 minutes before the Event is scheduled to begin, they messaged you and said they would be absent. How do you proceed?

When ever I plan an Event I take in consideration that I'll be doing it alone. In the case that I was expecting an fellow GM to assist me and he wnet absent. In case I need more time I'll delay the event for a maximum of 10 minutes just to get things back together in order to do them alone.

While planning an Event, you decide to test some of the tools you think would be helpful. You go to the admin room, and start to experiment. Unfortunately, while testing with some NPCs the server crashed. How do you react?

Immediately inform the Server Devs that the server crashed and tell them about what could crash the server in order to fix it. If not fixable I'll inform all fellow staff members about my discovery in order to avoid future mistakes.

An NCO has finished training a Recruit, but there are no COs or Staff online to provide the whitelist. What do you do?

If I have the permission and the means to do it, I'll whitelist him myself and inform the COs or Staff members about my action. If not, I would try contacting an CO/Staff member so they can give the whitelist.

While hosting a server-wide Event you have implemented a RP section where players can interact with a computer in order to open a door. Unexpectedly, a CO decides that they would rather that door stay closed (Presumably so that the other side cannot continue), and orders that the computer be destroyed. Given that the door is essential to progressing your event, how do you react?

I'll explain to him the reasoning about the Door and that its part of the event that is occurring. If the CO says so, I would move the RP section somewhere else to it does not interact with the normal CvR gameplay. Events are to make the normal gameplay more fun, not to change it.

While hosting a server-wide Event, a CmD/MAJ decides that they dislike it, and begin to openly attempt to get players to refuse to participate. This reaches the point that there are almost no players participating on one side. How do you resolve the situation?

I would ask him not to disrupt my event since everyone if they want can participate or not. If he doesn't like the event then that is his problem and he can DM me any time in order to discuss it together and improve it in a way to that everyone can enjoy it no matter what.

After hosting a server-wide Event, you are in the middle of a post-event Debrief when the COs present tell you to stop hosting your DB so they can host theirs. How do you react?

I would let them host their DB since its part of the normal everyday gameplay on the server. Where event DBs are not part of the everyday gameplay on the server and do not take priority.

What permissions do Gamemasters have, both inside and outside of Events?

Outside : GMs should have all the permissions they need to work on their future events without disturbing anyone.

Inside : GMs should have all the permissions they need in order to perform the events without being ruined by minges and players who are there to ruin the fun for everyone.

While preparing to host an Event, you notice that there are 3 vehicles deployed, and that the server is lagging a bit because of that. What do you do?

I'll try to let the COs that the vehicles deployed are causing some lag on the server and if possible to tell them to order their units to undesploy. Otherwise I cannot do anything but letting the server Devs about the lag issue when multiple vehicles are deployed.

Describe your design process of Events prior to queuing them.

1.Get some ideas or inspirations for events.
2.Try to imagine the event and how it would work out.
3.Put the event to a test with with some players if they volunteer to or with other GMs. Or else, testing it alone in a private place or single player world to see if it would really work out.
4.After planning the testing the event if there are not problems or errors regarding the event I place it up to the queue.

Create three Event ideas and describe them below. Be as detailed as you feel necessary. Originality is appreciated, and a lack of details will be penalized.

1. [Pirates on the space]. 2 boats in the sea are going to fight each other with the cannons that are on both boats. The boats are can be destroyed using the cannons or by throwing fire bombs on them when getting close with deployable smaller space bots. The final boat that is standing wins. After a long time if none of the boats have fallen, the boats with the less casualties wins. Players can be rewarded credits, special gun, materials or the ability to recommend future events with they ideas.

2. [Boxing rings]. Players with a lot of HP go into a boxing ring into a 1v1 for Team v Team. Armed with fists, knifes, or crowbars/Stun sticks. The last Player/Team standing will go and fight with other winning Players/Teams. The event will work on a best out of 3. Players who win the event can get Bonus Stats for one life (HP, Armor, Speed), guns, credits or the ability to recommend future events with they ideas.

3. [The Boss TITAN]. A randomly chosen player or a GMs pose as the Boss TITAN. A boss 2x the size of a normal player with a lot of HP, Armor, reduced speed and armored with a melee weapon. Is tasked of killing all the survivors who are armed with ranged weapons and have Reduced hp, Armor but slightly increased speed. The whole event is situated in a specialized arena.
If the survivors can manage the survive within given amount of time which is decided by the GMs or manage to kill the The Boss TITAN the survivors win.
If a player posing as The Boss TITAN manages to kill all survivors within the given amount of time  which is decided by the GMs then The Boss TITAN wins.
The Winner/Winners of the event are rewarded guns, credits, materials or the ability to recommend future events with they ideas.

4.[Really wanted to create another event idea, sorry if its too much Sad ]
[The Unknown Danger]. An RP situation is created by the GMs and players who want to participate are tasked to finding clues that are around the map or a COs gives orders to the rebels which lead to a secret bunker where the combines have been developing a new specialized unit that could potentially erase the whole resistance from earth. The event will be included as an Military Mission where there will be multiple squads.
The combines can try to stop the rebels or defend the secret bunker in order to keep they specialized unit safe. (Depending on their COs orders, Defend or Prevent.)
If the rebels manage to capture the specialized unit within the given amount of time decided by the GMs then the Rebels win.
If the combines manage to stop the rebels from capturing their specialized unit within the given amount of time decided by the rebels then the Combines win.
The winners of the event will be rewarded with guns, credits, materials or with Bonus stats for on life (HP, Armor, Speed).

How often do you think GMs should host events?

Small events that do not interfere with the normal gameplay.
Big events such the ones I mentioned previously should be done every 2-3 days.

Do you understand and accept the following clause: I will not leak Staff or Gamemaster information, I will not abuse my powers, and I will not break the Gamemaster rules.

Yes, I understand and accept the following clause.

Do you understand the basics of using ULX? List what you know.

I never really had the chance to use ULX that often. But I'm a quick learner and a good listener and I promise I can show some amazing progress a few days of using it.
I know commands like:
!freeze
!ban
!hp
!jail
!slay
!kick
!spectate
!bring
!god
!goto
!return
!send

I am very sorry you feel that way abut me. If its about the SU tryouts I'm very sorry for my attitude that day.

Having 4 Event ideas is perfectly fine, the 3 is there as a baseline requirement and anything you think better demonstrates your pre-emptive capabilities as a GM is good.

I’m also going to have to -1 because of that fact AND your event ideas. About your events. First of all your boss battle has so little mechanics it’s basically sounds like a give guy big gun and kill but that’s not the issue, if you were to host this event keep in mind that you can’t scale more than 2x size. And add something players have to do to fight the boss (ex. Find intel on the location or leave clues, make weak spots that must be broken first) Also with your boxing ring event another ooc very simple already done event. Also… boats? And explosions would very difficult and extremely laggy not to mention the obvious fact that there is minimal water only on 1 map. Your last event is decent but your other 3 show your lack of creativity. Also with your answers… some can be just wrong at times and some show that you wanted to make bland answers on porpoise. For your rp door answer you will most likely not have time to explain to him that it’s required and you should just force it to open via rp or intervention if serious enough. Also the main reason I personally think you would be a poor choice is that I can only recall your name from a week ago and you should get more known first. Also me co hosting su tryouts doesn’t help your mingyness I got experience how you act first hand. Also your reply to your previous response was a “I’m sorry you feel that way”… I shouldn’t need to explain why this isn’t good (Sorry for typing so much I was on a long car ride)

You just joined the server not even a full week ago, and there are quite a few errors on your application. Your server wide event answer is probably one of the weirdest I've seen, you don't need to move an entire RP zone because a CO said so. Instead, you could have the CO destroy the computer but also causing a negative effect to happen, like having the computer self destruct and also destroy the door in the process.
Your event debrief answer also isn't good. An event debrief can absolutely take priority over a normal DB and you can tell the CO to wait for the event debrief to be over before they do theirs. As for your events, they seem pretty lazy and your first event would be basically impossible to host with the limitations we have. As far as I know there aren't any maps in CVR that have big pools of water and I don't know how you would make working cannons.
Your second event is just simply unoriginal. Boxing ring 1v1 events have been done plenty of times already. For your third event I think it would be more fun if there was a build up to the boss battle. Boss battles are a good thing to have at the end of an event as a finale, but if the entire event is just doing a boss battle it's not all that fun. And lastly your fourth event seems alright, cool little capture/assault type deal.
Overall I think that once you get some experience on the server and you have played for a while you could be a good fit for GM but right now I just don't think you know enough about the server to be a GM.

Thanks for the feedback!
I've made some changes on the events with the boats and at the Boss event.
Also I may be new to the server but I can assure you that I have previous experiences from doing events. I am not new into the event making things.
The ideas I've mentioned are just some stuff that I thought about which I've never done before and but I see great potential in them.
About the SU tryouts, I don't think is a good thing to judge me for one moment that happened because of some tryouts. You didn't recall all the moments and the comments I've got at DBs
since I guess you turned an blind eye to those. My apologizing is the best thing I can do to redeem myself for being in the wrong place while not feeling well.

Neutral, not leaning to anything.

I'll tell these, event ideas are... weird as best I can describe.
I don't know what happened on SU tryouts, but your replies here to other people, apologizing, your anwsers to certain questions like "how would you react to negative feedback" are good.

Putting 4 event ideas is also good in my opinion, it sorta shows that you are creative. But I want to take into account what bateman and Argentini said... If you are new to the community, I'd say give it a bit more time. Play more, get to know players and other staff, see how events are being made and assist GMs on events, and what they want in GMs. Nonetheless, good luck.

I may be R&D biased, but Spider is very dedicated to what he puts his mind to, like engineer, constantly showing his dedication to the class. I like the extra effort on the ideas though.

I know my events are weird and I personally think that's why makes them special to me.
I do and will apologize to that incident since its something that I didn't want to happen but it did cuz of my mood at that moment. (Some personal issues).
I'm not here to show I'm better than anyone, I'm here to share my ideas and get feedback from those who think I can do better.
