What is your suggestion?
A: Giving medic access to the Vortigaunt's self healing on a 10 second delay similar to their base heal timer. Or longer if necessary.

How would this benefit the server?
A: Medic is often a role many players may find irritating due to it's Defib enabling long term engagements. While this is all well and good I'd like to mention a seperate flaw within the Medic's current design. Our lack of supplies is entirely too stringent to supply ourselves, high HP classes, and those lower on Triage Priority. This often leads to me simply letting people die rather than using time to heal them. Since by time I've healed like 3 guys I'm already running extremely low on medical supplies.

Medics/Helix can only use healing 10 seconds after being shot (which I'm a major fan of). So giving them regen after this time wouldn't hurt that much since they'd just use the supplies on themselves anyways. Therefore if a medic/helix wanted to hold off, and let his health slowly tick up it wouldn't be that different from him just using the medkit. Of course that is one of the problems with this suggestion. Why bother giving the medic/helix this feature when they can already self heal? Because healing themselves should be an afterthought. This would help both Combine and Rebel sides with the constant stress that comes with playing medic.

Also this is similar to the TF2 medic, and it just feels thematically appropriate for medics to regenerate.

I don't think this is the kind of buff that medic/helix needs, but I do know that they need one with all the nerfs they've been receiving.

-1 nigga they got med kits, the only thing that in my opinion that needs to be changed is how long you cant heal when you get shot

It's more intended as a timer to tell medics their medkit is back up. While also serving as a way to lower medic stress, and possibly save supplies.

An interesting buff since it makes sense for a medic to have. I guess perhaps it's a buff that medic doesn't need, but at least it's one that makes sense in the context of this class.

EDIT: Though this only goes for HP regen, not AP regen.

It's understandable that it would only be HP. As that's all it would take to understand your health pack is back up. Rather than sitting around fervently right clicking with it out because some MPF union grazed you for 3 hp and armor.
