Gravity Gun Changes:
Allow the gravity gun's alt fire to launch objects other than manhacks and rollermines, just as it does in the vanilla Half Life 2 campaign. Currently it's use is very niche and entirely relies on the enemy team deploying rollers or manhacks. To balance this out, the gravity gun's alt fire would need to be charged, like the alt fire on the tau cannon. The charging would prevent spam, and the noise generated by the charging could alert enemies to its presence.
a problem that i can see is that if people spawn props, what stops them from abusing it. Not only that but it can be quite powerful, for example the saw blade (like in HL2) can just kill everything, how would that work here? Also probably lots of lag since the prop is gonna be thrown around and shiz
The unfortunate issue with allowing gravity gun based propkill is it's instant death with no counterplay, and would really only matter for GRID/ENG as they're the only ones who would be allowed to spawn props for that purpose (the server won't allow people aside from the spawner-of to throw em). I'm not 100% opposed because it would be amusing, and killing people with SOME props would be somewhat reasonable (Ex. Sawblades), but it has a ton of potential for causing server lag and generally being un-fun when certain people start cracking the code on the "META" propkill props.
Overall, i'd give it a -1.
Also, the grav gun can be used to transport multiple CRs at once, punch vehicles into being un-stuck, as well a move a variety of objects that normal classes can't interact with. Niche use-cases to be sure, but they do exist.
