Yes, they can prevent themselves from getting in the situation, but then again, to prevent it from actually happen this method has been brought forward which I don't see being a real problem it does not obstruct or impair a players gameplay as much.
Unless you seem so butthurt that you yourself or someone else wants to REALLY BADLY CQC suicide bomb which is against the rules.
Checked with a Dev, they have come up with a loose framework for how to impliment it, and the grenade is allready a object by itself in the game. So there is no dev reason for it not to be included, unless he literally cant impliment it.
