FULL RP Name(s): OVA HEAVY DTO EpU Gunship/ TITAN 1-1 / EOW REAPER 08 6400 / OL R-9 Spotter Tsarnaev / OL S-9 Spotter Kacynzski What is your current IG level? 82 Discord Username: .rotting. Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:521103062 What region/timezone are you located in? EST Do you have a microphone? Yes Previous Warns? No Previous Bans? No Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences. I wish to generally assist the CvR environment and just help out the best I can. I've only been here about 2 months now but the server has grown on me and I feel like I am at a point where I'm now able to use the knowledge I've learned over the past couple of months and assist both the community and staff team as a whole. CvR has been the (i know this is a long shot) best experience I've had on a Gmod server to date, and I want to help out the best I can. Any staff who can vouch for you? Not that I'm aware of, but if you've seen me you probably know me. An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do? Simply ask both the Union and the Civi about what exactly happened, and possibly ask for any clips to help build the case further. From then on I would look at any logs regarding where they died. Did the civi perhaps shoot at the Union? Was it a misfire from the Union getting startled by the civi turning around a corner? I would ask these questions then based on the evidence and stories given I would take appropriate action accordingly. Somebody had made a ticket saying they passed Sniper applications and that they need it’s whitelist, how would you proceed? First, before even answering the ticket. I would ensure they have indeed passed sniper applications through the #subdivision-change channel located in the Combine discord. From then forth I would act accordingly if they had indeed passed them or not. If their SteamID is not located within the channel, I would simply refer to a Ranger CO to ensure they did indeed pass, or get denied. Though, this option would take longer. It is a COs responsibility to list all the passed individuals. If not found in the channel, the ticket will be ignored. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member? Rule A10 states that any and all roleplay actions are allowed so long as they are not overtly unable to be countered and are not restricted to one job. As far as I know, defecting to another faction willingly for one life is allowed. I would then silently watch the HECU to ensure he is maintaining proper roleplay etiquette. A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action? Depending on history, a verbal would suffice especially if the Cross is new. I would then proceed to talk to whoever recruited him into Combine to evaluate their ability to recruit new members correctly. But if the user is not new, and has been promoted a few times. A warn for spawn-camping would suffice. Refer to Rule A1. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this? I would remain silent and not argue with the offender any further. I would utilize any clipping or screenshots and send them to their respective DvL or CMD. I would proceed to swiftly warn the offender for FailRP (Not notifying team for infil) and threatening staff. A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules? Rule D3. Warn for breaking Building Rules. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do? Clip or screenshot ANY evidence I am able to gather and refer it all to a higher staff member to ban said individuals. Rule A5. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do? Ask a different staff member for advice as to wether or not what the other staff member is doing is allowed. Confronting the perpetrator will usually make things worse, so referring to a seperate staff member for advice is the best course of action. Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action?
Quickly teleport to the offender and ask them why they posted the "IP". Explain to them that, regardless even if it is possibly a jumble of random numbers. Posting IP addresses of any kind are prohibited, and could very well get someone doxxed or DDOSed. A warn or even a ban in this scenario would suffice along with a referral to any division COs, CMD or DvL.
+1 I've observed you for awhile, you have shown a care for rules ( from your time as KILO T-NCO ). As well as a good application. Although the last scenario question is a bit iffy.
I honestly can't remember if I've interacted with you before you got your name, but irregardless I've only heard good things of you from officers, your rap sheet is clean, and you're both an OVA and Reaper which I know requires a level of competence and impartiality that is befitting of a potential staff member.

+1 You see me and this guy go way back to the sandbox days, we went on many journeys together like our first heist our first home burglary and we even got rich together. You couldnt find another good fit in the staff team!
(did i mention he let me borrow his lambo and 10 story mansion)
Without any bias, +1. Both from my interactions with him and how he handles general situations -referring to a certain blacklist that happened in OVA- he is fit to be staff. He knows how to handle tough situations and I think he would be a perfect staff
