What is your suggestion? A: Bit of an offshoot to the UI idea Micdon had but what if NCO/CO/People In Squads could place down markers on the map. NCO/CO(Maybe regular too ?) would be for all team members to see with them expiring a minute afterwards(maybe a 10 second warning and 3/5 max for the whole team?). Squads would last a little longer and be in green. Maybe right clicking a non-checkpoint position would pop a marker there with you able to choose a list of icons. Left clicking markers show who placed them while the one that place em could do so to remove the marker. (Useful for preventing spam)
How would this benefit the server? A: It would help better coordinate with squad members, help plan raid routes/routes in general, spotting possible threats such as T90/Hunters and aerial vehicles and more. While saying, Tank D, would make sense if it was right at D, what about say far, far southwest of D or even at somewhere where there is no checkpoint at? Another use would be to coordinate where people could meet up.
Not a bad idea, although usually people don’t coordinate to the level at which this would be useful, and most don’t bother coordinating at all, and for the spotting, just use your compass, like “Tank D, 189”

sounds like a good idea but in practice it would probably annoy people and clutter the map a bit more than people would like
