What is your suggestion?
A: Make Mace use the 45 second cloak with about 45/60 max charge, but a bunch of mace nerfs are reverted. (so faster take out time, silent footsteps, can cloak/uncloak without waiting 3 seconds, etc) This would make it so mace can pull off more shenanigans but they are vulnerable after each encounter. ( you have to hold the cloak out and recharge it so you can reuse it again) This would make each mace ambush more powerful at the cost of being very vulnerable for 10-20 seconds after it. 


How would this benefit the server?
A:
It would make it so mace can do smarter, more entertaining plays while also having to worry about charge. the Rebels would be able to exploit the fact that they cant go invisible for a while, balancing it out. I enjoyed being able to do the ballsy plays when I was in mace like half a year ago, and I think having to worry about charge balances it out.

i can't give opinion about this because i have never been mace and that shit but making mace more powerful with only a bit more of cooldown doesn't sound too god for me

they dont have a cooldown at all rn, this would exchange their downside from loud footsteps/annoying cooldowns to having to recharge their cloak for 10-20 seconds (you need to have the cloak out to recharge it, meaning your basically a easy kill if caught)

Mace's style seems to already be set in stone as our cloak rework has been the final nerf for Mace to balance them, so this probably won't get changed as it'll complicate things and may require more balancing if the cloak's set up is changed again.

-1, as much as I personally hate having the slightest noise be heard and instantly give me away, footsteps are what balance us and are apart of the game, it's our achilles heel and we just need to accept it as such, I believe this version of the cloak is quite balanced and won't need to be changed, as fun as a faster weapon equip sounds, it's probably not gonna be fun to fight against, and charging the timer is gonna be quite annoying and probably the death of most Mace trying to use this style of cloak.

Interesting suggestions. I feel like a timer would be good for mace. I am going to preface this message with this statement: If a mace doesn't wanna be killed, they won't. Mace are able to operate with almost a 100% chance at all times of not being killed. (not even involving their ability to escape.) Now, 45-60 seconds is way too short. Maybe 2 minutes at minimum, or a timer that stops when they stop. Mace have a LOT of leeway right now, and practically singlehandedly control the flow of an entire game rightnow. Not to mention they also completely disable an entire rebel vehicle vehicle from ever being deploye
