I'm afraid this would make the winner of sniper dules always the person who scoped in first.
(PAGE 10! LETS GOOOO!!! WE WRIGHTING A FUCKING NOVEL BOYS!!)
Not necessarily, if the individual is scoped in he is locked to an angle, it takes little brain for one to realize they can go around.
Or try something different. (especially if the ability of flanking exists and he has to unscope and rescope to try and kill whomevers behind him)
I think the ttk update is alright as is WITH exception that snipers are just starting to dominate the game in both long range and CQC in many instances. Similar with shotguns, but those are more limited in effective range. I would just say to add intense scope sway to sniper scopes rather than nerf damage though, rather than being able to keep them steady at all times when scoped

I'm talking about situations where to snipers see each other and start shooting. I think a long ads could ruin the fun in those fights. I don't care if there is an alternative. It won't be fun.
Also, I don't know about you, but I don't scope-in until I have a target. The FOV is too precious.
...And your strategy only works on snipers who are staying in one spot of an extended period and are alone, which, to put it lightly, isn't always the case.

The main problem is CQC sniping. Thanks to the recent TTK increase for machine guns, it has become a lot more effective. Scope sway won't affect CQC sniping at all, only long-range sniping. And that not a (big) problem.
Not to forget, adding something like this opens a whole new can of worms. Tweaking stats would just be easier.

The main problem is CQC sniping yeah that is evident. You increase scope in time, how are you gonna CQC snipe now? Aside from hipfiring which has been nerfed a bit : MIND BLOWN :
Not that hard to understand lol, tweaking damage is an undesirable outcome by some that have stated it in this thread. This is an alternative.
Just because it takes you a second longer to scope in is not a whole new can of worms. Scope sway was never mentioned either where did that come from?

Firstly: rude.
Second: Did you even read what I quoted?

If you read what I said and looked at the thread, not just 1 individual wanted to avoid a damage nerf (those were also snipers)
Also may I know who you "represent of sniper" I would love to know, since you said you represent the entirety of them I'd love to know more specifically who.

This is my conclusion on what a higher ADS would do. If I'm right, it will negatively affect everyone in a sniper class.
The reason I said "...And I'm talking for everyone in a sniper division." is because I was parodying your exact wording. (Well close. I missed the "for the better of")

I did not mean to say "I represent the entirety of them" just that I'm speaking with them in mind.
However, you did just admit that you believed the phrase "I'm talking for..." means the same as "I represent the entirety of...".
That means, in this quote ^^^ you effectively claimed, "I represent the entirety of everyone," which is patently a lie as this thread is 11 pages of differing opinions and ideas on how sniper should be changed.
...That is, if you want to have pissing match over semantics.
