I've always gotten along with and very much enjoyed interacting with staff and members of the server and would love to be a more integral part of the community and be able to offer more help to those that need it as I very much enjoy the tight-knit community of the server. I also very much enjoy the general helpful nature of being a staff member and would like to be seen in that light, as someone that improves the experience of the server for others and to be an ambassador of the community. I've also had quite a bit of staff experience in the past for other servers and was also Co-Owner of a long standing DarkRP server previously. Why should you be accepted on the staff team? I am very active member of the server and community and want to be able to not only be a good example of the staff team, but the community itself. I'm always looking to help when I'm on the server whether is offering advice on game mechanics, and or general tips and tricks or training recruits as I enjoy welcoming people into an experience I enjoy so much in hopes they will also enjoy it and get to take part of the community and now extensive history of CvR. I plan on becoming a long standing member of the staff team and community overall for years to come and to be known as a helpful and respectful figure to everyone, whether a veteran of the server or someone who has just joined. Etzil, Zyer An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do? Ask said Union their reasons for killing the civilian and if purposeful, explain that killing civilians is not allowed and will result in punishment. Then let him go with a verbal warning but watch them closely to see if they continue killing civilians, and in the event that they continue killing civilians bring them to a sit and issue a ban for MassRDM. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member? Bring the HECU to a sit and explain that under no circumstances are they themselves allowed to enter combine base as it will be seen as a solo base raid since they are a class that is not allowed to infiltrate and explain that rebels cannot defect to the combines but also explain to them that they are also allowed to have combine character too. Then issue a warn for FailRP and return them and spectate them to see if it happens again. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this? Record/Screenshot them saying said things and continue on with the punishment of FailRP then after the sit message the leadership of said division with the proof of said incident and let them handle what happens with the CO beyond that. A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do? Record/Screenshot bring them to a sit and explain that DDoS and raid threats are taken very seriously and issue a ban on all offending players then send the screenshots/recordings of DDoS/Raid threats to the staff team and ownership to give them a chance to prepare and make precautions for what may come. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do? Record said incident and send to head of staff to get clearance on the issue.
+1, I remember seeing this guy around, which is a decent indicator that he’s been on a bit and for awhile, because I play CVR once a month, also a good app overall.
