Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences.
I want to be part of the staff team because I would like to help out and contribute to this amazing community more and my subdivision (OTA SWORD). There have been times when I have been stuck in a ceiling or wall, and needed help from a staff, or I needed Resources back from a tryout activity; I would like to be part of those who help the players of CvR, and to give back to the community. I am pretty active on this server, so I would be available to provide help when it is needed, whether it be on the server, or on discord. Lastly, even though I do not have any prior experience of being a staff member, I am willing to spend time to learn and train to be a good staff member.
Any staff who can vouch for you?
Not that I know of, but if any staff would like to vouch for me, please do in the comments!
An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing. What do you do?
If there was no ticket made about an RDM, I would let it go, since it was most likely an accident. If there was a ticket made by the civilian, I would teleport the civilian to me, and ask them what happened. If there is any proof of the intentional RDM, I would warn the UNION that did it. If there is no solid proof of the RDM, I would tell the civilian to make another ticket if it happens again, this time with proof (recording/screenshot). Then, after hearing both sides, I would give a warn for RDM to the MPF Union that killed the Civilian.
Somebody had made a ticket saying they passed Sniper applications and that they need it’s whitelist, how would you proceed?
Firstly, I would check the subdivision change channel in the Rebel discord to see if they actually joined Sniper. If it's true, I can give the whitelist.
A H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect". How do you proceed as a staff member?
I would bring them to me, outside the Combine base, and depending on the severity, I would either give a simple verbal warning about the rule of entering Combine base and spawn camping, or an actual warning. Either way, I would tell their CO's as well.
A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action?
Similar to the HECU situation, I would give either a verbal or actual warning, depending on the severity of the spawncamp, and report it to their CO's.
You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go. How do you handle this?
I do not let them go, as this is my job as staff, to enforce the rules of the server. I would also report this incident to the CO's higher ups.
A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules?
Yes. This breaks Rule D3.
A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it. What do you think you should do?
I would first record/screenshot for evidence of this threat, and immediately kick and ban the group of players, since this is very dangerous. I would also tell my higher ups as a staff what happened, along with the proof of the threat. It is important to remove the threat as soon as possible. Even if it is a joke, you can never be sure.
You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed. What do you do?
Since I don't know if it is allowed, I would first consult the rule book. Then, if it really is not allowed, I would report it to other high ranking staff members, or staff members that may be higher.
Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action?
I would take a screenshot of the message, and report this to this NCO's higher ups, and my higher ups as a staff member of the incident. I would also ban the NCO since it could be dangerous if the IP is real.
