What is your reason(s) for applying for Gamemaster?
Answer: I wanna make the Server more enjoyable on the early times for the Europeans with small Events, so that people arent bored during that Time and go AFK.
Have you ever been Event Staff or something similar before? If so, list your previous positions.
Answer: I was only regular Staff before, so No.
Describe how you react to negative feedback, from constructive criticism to borderline harassment.
Answer:
Constructive Criticism is something that points out all the Flaws, I take that into Account and make sure the next Event I would host, these Flaws don't happen again, or try as much as to avoid them.
Borderline Harassment, I just ignore it if somebody is doing my Mom again for the 197119969644th Time, if there is nothing helpful to correct my mistakes just baseless insults, than I will not appease to his Tomfoolery.
While planning a server-wide Event you realized that it would make hosting it much easier if you had another Gamemaster assisting you, and manage to get someone to help. Unfortunately 5 minutes before the Event is scheduled to begin, they messaged you and said they would be absent. How do you proceed?
Answer: I'll delay it by 5 minutes or at max 10 minutes (enough time to ping or get help from a diffrent GM), if by the time I don't have anyone else helping me out, I will just start the Server Event and try as best as I can make sure this Event runs smooth, I don't want to cancel something this big, something that everyone has been waiting for.
While planning an Event, you decide to test some of the tools you think would be helpful. You go to the admin room, and start to experiment. Unfortunately, while testing with some NPCs the server crashed. How do you react?
Answer: Contact Management and or probably Sentinel that the Server crashed, in addition I also let them know in Detail, about what or why the Server crashed and apologize for the inconvenience.
An NCO has finished training a Recruit, but there are no COs or Staff online to provide the whitelist. What do you do?
Answer: Check up on the NCO and ask them if the RCT has been properly trained, if so Ill give him the WLs (if I even can).
While hosting a server-wide Event you have implemented a RP section where players can interact with a computer in order to open a door. Unexpectedly, a CO decides that they would rather that door stay closed (Presumably so that the other side cannot continue), and orders that the computer be destroyed. Given that the door is essential to progressing your event, how do you react?
Answer: I turn the Computer into a Bedrock MS DOS Computer and make it unbreakable, also preferably put a Penalty to the Faction of said CO.
(Preventing the other Side from progressing is a smart and scummy move so, props for trying)
While hosting a server-wide Event, a CmD/MAJ decides that they dislike it, and begin to openly attempt to get players to refuse to participate. This reaches the point that there are almost no players participating on one side. How do you resolve the situation?
Answer:
I would TP myself to the Event Disruptor and ask them personally, what they dislike about the Event and note it down aswell, afterwards I will let the Person know that they should behave themselves and just have fun for once, if the issue is not ressolved by then, I will have to make do with Plan B, make the Event worthwile with very good Rewards.
After hosting a server-wide Event, you are in the middle of a post-event Debrief when the COs present tell you to stop hosting your DB so they can host theirs. How do you react?
Answer: I will tell the present CO's that these Post-Event Debriefs are necessary so people know whats about to happen and I will make it very short and quick, the said Event DB.
What permissions do Gamemasters have, both inside and outside of Events?
Answer: ULX Commands, they can spawn NPC's, turn people into something else with the Pill (I don't know much, just telling what I have seen so far)
While preparing to host an Event, you notice that there are 3 vehicles deployed, and that the server is lagging a bit because of that. What do you do?
Answer: Tell the Faction that the Vehicles own to undeploy them, if still laggy, I would delete them and refund the Vehicles to the Faction who owned them
Describe your design process of Events prior to queuing them.
Answer:
Step 1: Think about an Idea (use inspiration from other sources)
Step 2: Plan the Concept, possible Rules, additional Personal needed etc.
Step 3: Execute the Event and observe
Step 4: After Event, take Polls and see how many people liked it, and ask for improvements for next time
Create three Event ideas and describe them below. Be as detailed as you feel necessary. Originality is appreciated, and a lack of details will be penalized.
1.

Escort the VIP:
- A very Important Figure has appeared on the Map
- Both Factions must escort the VIP back to their Base to secure a Victory
- The VIP will be on a random spot on the Map and both Factions have to find them
- If 3 or more people are near the VIP, he will automatically start walking towards the Factions base that has them
2.
Bomb Carrier:
- A Vehicle filled with loads of Explosives is parked on any Point of the Map
- Both Factions must make an Attempt and push the Vehicle to the Enemy Factions base
- 5 Units are required for the Vehicle to move, otherwise it will stop
- 1st Faction to push the Vehicle to their Enemy HQ Territory, wins the Event
3. Zombie Survival (I don't like this Idea cause its kinda complicated but Ill post it anyways):
- Create a Small Map that is fit for Surviving, like Black Ops Zombies
- Participating Players only receive a starting Pistol
- Maximum are 10 waves to survive against the Zombies and Aliens
- After each Wave, a Merchant appears providing diffrent weapons or Abilities for Cash (In game Event Currency)
- Survive through the 10 Waves and defeat the Final Boss at the end of those 10 Waves
- Surviving Participant, get a big Event reward for making it through
- Participants who should not be alive at the end get a partial reward for attending
(Those Ideas are too vague, my head is burning, not my strongest suit)
How often do you think GMs should host events?
Answer: Once a week I think.
Do you understand and accept the following clause: I will not leak Staff or Gamemaster information, I will not abuse my powers, and I will not break the Gamemaster rules.
As to the character of the individual:
+1, we all know Jimmy and his Bonez
In terms of the app:
- You do have the ability to give WLs to RCTs who need them, but remember to remind NCOs that they can use their NCO WL to give RCT's their WLs as well.
- I don't believe (personally) in penalizing a Faction for creativity. Now, if it's a funny and simply stupid circumstance, I would agree. For example, a CROSS tried urinating on a console I had for an event, and so I made it blow him up exclusively because of its short-circuit. But, if you punish a Faction for simply trying to find ways to beat an event, I feel that's a little unreasonable.
- For a job that is literally built around making events, I find it ironic that you mention in the event-creation portion that "this is not my strong suit." I would hope you're only saying that because making 3 events consecutively is hard, and not because thinking of events is too hard in general. I would also like more specifics for each event (i.e. is the VIP godded? Why are both Factions inclined to capture them? Will the vehicle be made indestructible? How will you work around the fact that normal Symphys are very hard to make invincible? etc...)
And, if it was too hard to think of three events consecutively, I would advise to stop and take a break for a while to gather more ideas, rather than just plow through the requirements. We're looking for quality over quantity here, and GM will take up your time nowadays with its requirements.
In terms of the actual app, it would bring me to a neutral stance on him.
1st Point, yeah that would make sense penalizing the Person who gets Creative by activating a Spring trap which only makes him launch into space
2nd Point, I actually had diffrent and more simple Event Ideas but the only Issue I have is that I cant express them by text or writing, its a bit difficult for me, I am working on that
The 3rd Event Idea I had was something I would probably like to see, a bit complex maybe but do-able, regardless I rushed the application, that is indeed on me and me alone.
