FULL RP Name(s): NPU AIU Joker What is your current IG level? 83 Discord Username: jokergamma Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:423859406 What region/timezone are you located in? CST Do you have a microphone? Yes Previous Warns? None Previous Bans? None Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences. Personally, I want to see the server thrive. Obviously, if we want new players to play, they need to have a good time. In order to have a good time, the standard server gameplay must be undisruptive by any people who decided to try to ruin the experience. If I can make the server even the tiniest bit better to play on, then it's worth the effort Any staff who can vouch for you? Kowalski, Aithead An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do? First, I would look at the logs to say where the killing commenced and where people were at the time to determine the combat situation. I would then go into a sit with the two involved and ask questions about the situation. If it is determined to be an accident, return both to their positions. If determined to be intentional, a warn for the UNION. If this has happened multiple times, ban for 1-3 days. Somebody had made a ticket saying they passed Sniper applications and that they need it’s whitelist, how would you proceed? Check #sub-division-changes for the log. If unable to verify through the channel, ask the person which CO accepted the application and dm them or other officers to confirm. An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member? RP defects do not happen in game, and is only available OOC between combine and rebel COs and have a longer duration to process. I would take the HECU out, explain this to him through a verbal warn. If this continues, an official warn is given and information regarding this is sent to their COs. A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action? Instant warn at the very least. If this has been going consitently with multiple dead rebels, a ban for RDM/mRDM while informing their COs. You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this? Take them to affairs and to their higher-ups after screenshotting/recording the situation. They are trying to abuse their in game power for you upholding the server rules. A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules? This is simply called prop abuse. Using props to fly is not allowed in the videogame.
A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do? Ban them all. DDOS threats and raids are not at all tolerated and will be subject to swift ban to prevent the server experience from being harmed. You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do? Gather evidence via video or screenshots, and consult the MOTD as well as other staff/Head Admin to come to a conclusion first. Acting rashly can lead to bad consequences. Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action? This is considered DOXING and would lead to a quick mute following a ban as DOXING is considered illegal and a no tolerance offence.
