And range limit is going yo destroy the strider in outland map it will be useless because 90% of it is sniping for strider same for stalker and on City it wont make a difference because its small map
Today i deployed a strider lasted for long time but got taken down but another kilo that doesnt have the skill and time in vehicles like me (or other kilo main guys) got taken down in 10 mins or less on the most "broken" map for strider c13 why everytime u try to nerf it its op in one map and average in other maps because of the trees and the land type thing nerf will make it get destroyed on other maps (not c13)
What im seeing if alstrider get a range nerf hvys will ue the max distance of their rpg lock-on and rape the strider
U literally run infront of me without trying to dodge and u want me to now kill u easily?(all hvys do this alteast most)

strider doesnt need much skill imo, I mean its practically point & click with it, also the lock-on range isn’t that bad with rpg so +1 for range nerf or warp cannon cooldown

Its not point and shoot u need to know how to move and when and where at the right time its like saying get a gun and go kill people with that are attacking u with knifes if he sont know how to aim annd where to hols he will die to knife for sure

Everytime the C13 map comes we have to pray to not get striders nerf app but on other maps no one even care if strider is deployed being op in one map doesnt mean it op in all and doesnt mean it need a nerf

both the HC and Dropship have unlimited range on their guns, so doing that to the strider would be "unfair" to it. As well as that, I think what'd work better is having the gun be a burst much like the HL2 strider, instead of handicapping its range which would render it vulnerable to long-distance RPG fire on maps like Outlands or Stalker.
I believe hes talking about the warp cannon not the MG.
Also I do like the idea of having the MG be burst style like in actual HL2. We'd have to pair it with a little longer cool down on the warp so it doesn't become the primary
As I may not play now I do believe that the strider is just fine because IF and this is a if there is more than 2 hvys on the strider can get messed up pretty badly. Now I understand people dont like it because it has such a long range and can do this and that but in all I think its fine. Again I dont play anymore but when I did I feel it was just fine the way it was.
changing my mind from the last time you complained as well, i was a heavy for a brief period not long ago and striders just arent that hard to play against, you might die a few times, but you spawn back in and keep throwing rockets at it, as well as with proper positioning you can easily avoid dying repeatedly to striders

There are some heavies that just rape every single vehicle, it's like a fucking mosquite, you don't see it, you know he's there, BUT IT JUST FUCKING ITCHES AND ITCHES AND ITHCES

Lmao add 1.5 second delay(it already has like 1.5 second delay already so an extra 1.5 is more then enough) to the warp cannon after it fires, make the MG 6/8 shot burst with 1/1.5 second delay, and make striders able to crouch.
Why crouch? Well, tanks can go into stuff like tunnels or other roofed up areas, and knowing myself AND other kilos, we'd be retarded enough to crouch to get that tank. But wanna know something? From what I heard, tank's main cannon can shread the strider if it hits. If they can get it to be lower, that means they can get a free shot.
And if the strider doesn't crouch? Well you are in cover so who cares lol.
