Hi so in server I've been going around as a guy named Daft Punk mic spamming Daft Punk music. There is no rule that states mic spam isn't allowed. Nekso came and gaged me twice and warned me once with a 2x. He claimed the reason for doing so was because aurora who makes the rules told him that mic spamming is against the rules. Here is the thing, that doesn't make it against the rules. Until something is in the rulebook, it isn't a rule, nor would it really be common sense for such a rule to exist on this server. I could understand that rule on a serious rp server but this is just a cap the points server. So for that reason, and the fact it isn't in the rulebook, I'd like the warn to be removed and to no longer be punished for playing music in game.

First of all, follow the correct format.
Second of all, Mic spam is categorized under FailRP, so in short, yes it is a rule on the server and it is not allowed. Nesko is in the right.

Bud, it does make common sense for it to be on a server in general whether its serious RP or not. Basically, what you are saying is that you can go around playing loud ass fucking music around players who may be listening to their own music or don't want to listen to music and they have to deal with you.

So uh, you are correct in that rules should be listed in the rule book. However, it should be common sense that micspam is FailRP, as others have said. Additionally, there was an announcement a while ago in the main DEFN discord stating that "The specifics of the rules have been decreased by a lot, don't attempt to abuse this. Just because something isn't in the MOTD doesn't mean its not a rule." Which I think is rather weird, but if you have a case of what you think is a Staff Member abusing the low specificity of the rules, bring it to Affairs, we've got a channel in the main discord called "#affairs-help-center," and we can assist you with such questions.

To reiterate, It should be obvious that Micspam is FailRP (though I don't know why you were warned twice for it), not every rule is listed in the MOTD (but a general statement that is related will be; Ex. FailRP), and if you think someone is abusing, bring it to Affairs.
