This has led me the realization that nearly all significant characters in the stories of Half Life and Portal are ether somehow tied to Black Mesa, or somehow fucked in the head.
To name a few in Half life:
Breen: Administrator of Black Mesa during the cascade.
Freeman: Both probably.
Alex: Daughter of Black Mesa scientist.
Arne Magnusson: Narcissist and Black Messa scientist,
Dr. Judith Mossman: Applied for Gordan's job.
Grigori: Calls a hoard of zombies his congregation.
Gman: Caused the residence cascade.
And everyone in portal:
GLaDOS: Kills a LOT of people.
Wheatley: Retarded.
Cave Johnson: REALLY dumb. Somehow managed to drive the company that invented the fucking portal gun to the verge of bankruptcy.
Ratman: Talks to cube.
Chell: Apple.
The only anomalies I found are: Odessa Cubbage, Lamarr, Dog, and 2 vorts.
