What is your reason(s) for applying for Gamemaster?
Gamemaster recently seems more and more appealing for what it provides to those whom I apply and to the community, from server wide events which I honestly am not fond of but can see the interest in, to the smaller scale little things that make the server what it is, pure and goofy fun.
I think I can mix my natural talent of being a dipshit in with being a GM quite will if I apply myself, something in which I am ready to do.

Have you ever been Event Staff or something similar before? If so, list your previous positions.
I've never been event staff but I have been Staff on 2 occasions.

Describe how you react to negative feedback, from constructive criticism to borderline harassment.
Valid criticism and feedback should be taken in strife and be used to better future events.
Harassment(Depending on what you view has harassments) can be easily ignored unless it continues outside of the game and rf pvt dicktits spams you with gore porn saying that you suck.

While planning a server-wide Event you realized that it would make hosting it much easier if you had another Gamemaster assisting you, and manage to get someone to help. Unfortunately 5 minutes before the Event is scheduled to begin, they messaged you and said they would be absent. How do you proceed?
If it is absolutely impossible for me to continue the event, then I would delay/cancel it, as is a much better alternative to butchering the event and things not going to plan.
But if possible continue or get aid from another gamemaster after a short delay.

While planning an Event, you decide to test some of the tools you think would be helpful. You go to the admin room, and start to experiment. Unfortunately, while testing with some NPCs the server crashed. How do you react?
Firstly I would apologize for my actions and explain myself and what I did to cause the crash to both the Head GM and Sentinel, as crashing the server is very detrimental to player count, and at the bottom line affects the owner the most, I would take this into consideration and probably test NPC's out on my own from then on.

An NCO has finished training a Recruit, but there are no COs or Staff online to provide the whitelist. What do you do?
Well now NCO's can whitelist, but in the scenario where they can't, I would whitelist them.

While hosting a server-wide Event you have implemented a RP section where players can interact with a computer in order to open a door. Unexpectedly, a CO decides that they would rather that door stay closed (Presumably so that the other side cannot continue), and orders that the computer be destroyed. Given that the door is essential to progressing your event, how do you react?
I would try to implement another element to the event, where they COULD choose not to open said door, yet the opposing team would still be able to progress whether it could be a remote hack or forced entry of some sort.

While hosting a server-wide Event, a CmD/MAJ decides that they dislike it, and begin to openly attempt to get players to refuse to participate. This reaches the point that there are almost no players participating on one side. How do you resolve the situation?
If their intent is just to disrupt the event, inform them that is not only a punishable offense but just not necessary, if players wish they do not have to participate in the event but intentionally forcing people or coercing them to not participate is blatantly childish.
If they have a genuine concern or criticism I would gladly accept but derailing an event is not needed to prove a point.

After hosting a server-wide Event, you are in the middle of a post-event Debrief when the COs present tell you to stop hosting your DB so they can host theirs. How do you react?
Preferably I would allow the CO to do their DB then hand out the rewards in a post-event DB, but in the situation where I host first I would inform them that it will not take long and once I am done handing out rewards they can go on with their DB.

What permissions do Gamemasters have, both inside and outside of Events?
If they are the host of an event almost anything as long as it is related.
Outside of events they can handle whitelist tickets if no other staff, painting cars, any sabotage infiltrations, etc.

While preparing to host an Event, you notice that there are 3 vehicles deployed, and that the server is lagging a bit because of that. What do you do?
If needed order them to un-deploy, as the alternative is a terrible event or at worst a crashed server.

Describe your design process of Events prior to queuing them.
Brainstorm the beginning or idea for an event
Get the main plot of it worked out
Plan out the steps/progression to the event
Note down dates it could take place, map, think how a player would react.
Finalize all details and if need be consult with a more senior member of the GM's to see if it could work.

Create three Event ideas and describe them below. Be as detailed as you feel necessary. Originality is appreciated, and a lack of details will be penalized.

1. "The Circus is in Town!"
Make a circus!
I would pick out an open spot (ideally main_street considering it's more open in some spots, particularly near H)
And open a circus, I would get actors who would be the "attractions" and they would show off their amazing tricks!
The variety of what I could add is really up to the imagination but it would go like this.
Firstly I announce there is a circus ready for all to see (with an admission fee of a mere 500 credits)
3-4 rooms with the "attractions" and I think for actors I will put a small list down for it:
A upscaled OSE model that is painted white or red
A talking antlion guard colored purple
A person who is perpetually on fire (Godded of course.)
A tiny Dr. Breen who would act as the bouncer/guard (scaled to .3-.5)
And for the fun of it, a catapult so you can launch yourself out of the circus in style.
(This wouldn't be mandatory it would just be a fun little side thing for both factions, anyone can come, and if you couldn't tell it would be quite goofy.)

2. "The Templars"
An un-aligned anarchist cell has recently been spotting engaging Combine and Rebel forces in the sector, they are powerful enough to be considered a threat to both sides.
Unless... one can win them over.
The idea is that each side will vie for political and military control over this new anarchist group known as: "The Templars"

Their leader known as "Magus Meier" is indifferent to both and will need major payment, coercion, threats, or even guarantees in order to throw up arms for either side.
The anarchists see themselves as an "Order" devoted to the acknowledgment of the spiritual self as well as the spirituality of everyone around them, and aren't very partial to strong arm tactics.
They are quite able to defend themselves if need be.
This event would be entirely up to the CO's to decide how they would react, everything would be in place for them either to destroy, or join forces with.
If they opted to wipe out the order, the other could choose to protect them, gaining a powerful ally (for a brief period to ensure balance).
Or they could both fight with diplomacy or strength to win them over

Or both could simply work together to wipe them out.
It's the players choice to make and could make for a very interesting long term or short term event.
(Their HQ would be based near H on main_street, or in the sewers on C13, would require 3-6 actors.)

3. "Knowledge is Power"
"A relic of the old has made itself known."
"An Artificial Intelligence by the name of "Sokolov" is roaming in the sector, he is extremely powerful and must be handled with EXTREME caution, he was one of the most adcanced AI in the entire US military and was worth almost 6 Billion to the DoD. "
"We found some old files on it and here is what it says."
"Introducing: Sokolov! This smart fella' is one of the most advanced robots Uncle Sam has to offer! He can be used to tap into enemy communications, servers, remote vehicles, and- oh! he can tell jokes!"
"The fuck were wrong with these pricks...."
In this event both teams need to escort the robot designated as "Sokolov" to their respective bases. (Infiltration classes cannot interfere when they are past base borders.)
But first, they need to find him. He will be a random actor put in a random spot modeled as "Dog" and given 2000 HP.
Whoever finds them needs to escort them back to base, every 30 seconds his location will be broadcasted in advert (after he is initially located).
And each time needs to fight to bring him back to their respective bases.
if he dies no one will gain is immense espionage capabilities, unless they salvage the AI from his robotic corpse, and make it to base. (They will still lose out on some of his initial aspects)
But if he is returned intact, he will be able to tap into enemy comm chatter, access to remote vehicles (Essentially just rollermines/mannhacks), enemy servers (will allow to remotely broadcast messages like infiltration classes can) and of course, jokes!
(Cuffing Sokolov is not allowed, and if done so will result in him just being uncuffed)

How often do you think GMs should host events?
As often as they can, and within reason since players don't want events 24/7.

Do you understand and accept the following clause: I will not leak Staff or Gamemaster information, I will not abuse my powers, and I will not break the Gamemaster rules.
Aye aye cap.

I know most of them that will be needed for GM Work.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and even if I don't get in, I would like to see maybe some of my concepts utilized : )

+1, good event ideas and even though I haven't seen you before (probably because of different time zones) you seem like a good player and also this app is really good too. I do wonder how you got so many racism bans but CvR is filled with it so.

Kowalski has been nothing but nice to me since I joined and I have nothing bad to say about him. I also really like the events (the Templar event sounds great!), and the application is well written. IMO a very active player who would do great as a GM. I wish you the best of luck!
