Why do you want to be part of the staff team? Must be at least 3 sentences. I want to become a staff member to help with the common issues that arise such as being stuck, whitelists, or color changes which I know will not be available at first, but I can work with time and commitment to achieve those abilities. Furthermore, with time commitment, I believe I can change from how I am previously viewed as being in some respects as a minge or always looking to break the rules, by conversely enforcing them. Albeit I have this perception, I am willing to work through this and make better change and a better name for myself instead of the engineer they know of. With this, I hope to be a fast-response staff member and always looking to invite knowledge when needed.
Any staff who can vouch for you? Katakuri, Morpheus
An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do? With this situation, I would take each party to the side (bring one person at a time to an admin location) and get their side of the story with what happened. After taking each response, punishments could be laid out accordingly (verbal, warn) due to the facts presented such as: civilian was accidentally crossfired, MPF UNION intentionally killed civilian, civilian refused to leave area, etc.
Somebody had made a ticket saying they passed Sniper applications and that they need it’s whitelist, how would you proceed? I would teleport to the person making the ticket and ask for evidence that they have actually passed the tryouts, if they lack sufficient evidence I would check the subdivision changes for any evidence of their character. Lastly, if nothing came up, I would ask the Sniper CO as a final resort to see if they passed applications, and with no evidence, I would ignore them or give the whitelist based on my results.
An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member? First, I would bring the HECU back to base and depending on how new the player is to the server (although HECU requires some higher leveled player, this topic usually remains unmentioned for rebels) and either explain this topic, and in most cases warn the HECU player for intentionally breaking spawn borders.
A ticket alleging spawn-camp has been made, and the offending party is a member of cross who was found inside rebel spawn borders, what is the correct course of action? Depending on the allegations made such as the CROSS firing back within rebel spawn borders or scouting within, I would explain the situation to the rebel or person who made the ticket with the rules of CROSS scouting or warning the CROSS for firing back in borders with self-defense.
You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this? This RP situation has no effect on the proposition such as infilling without notifying their team, and the sit would continue normally, even if this had not occurred. However, I would additionally either recording or screenshots (depending on how they delivered the message) to the respective higher up to notify them.
A Grid has created a ball that he has encased himself in and is propelling himself forward using the gravity gun, is this breaking any rules? For light-hearted fun in base, I would say this has no problem; however, a problem arises when this is deployed onto the field. Then, this would be breaking rules against moving props while getting shot at, and this interferes with prop vehicles rules such as tampering the prop vehicle outside of base. First, I would delete the prop (or bring the GRID with current permissions I have) and inform the GRID of these rules for what he is being punished for and warn accordingly on previous offenses of minge building.
A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do? Depending on my permissions, my first action is to permaban, ban, or kick to remove them from the server, and then, I would notify a higher staff member to carry out the permaban.
You see a high-ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do? First, I would take evidence to prove my claims of this questionable behavior and ask a higher staff member with the evidence if this is allowed, and I would allow them to deal with the staff member or be informed of what they are doing.
Out of nowhere a random set of numbers resembling an IP has been typed by an NCO has been typed into OOC, what is the correct course of action?
I would immediately teleport to the NCO and question him for the numbers posted in chat with being an accident of posting a similar number (could be discord ID, steam ID, etc) and put it off. However, if the NCO attempts to lie or intentionally put someone's IP into chat, I would record the encounter (starting from the beginning anyways) and report to a higher staff member to punish accordingly.
