List all (if any) previous punishments (Warns/Bans)

I cannot remember ever being previously punished on the server, so none.

What is your reason(s) for applying for Gamemaster?

To host more widely inclusive fun events on the server.

Have you ever been Event Staff or something similar before? If so, list your previous positions.

- Former Community Manager of EuphoriaRP, Former Senior Moderator on Icefuse Networks, Former Moderator on EverSkyRP, Former Moderator on ObeyServersRP, Former Head Administrator of RageRP, Former Head Administrator of KeySanityRP. Former two-time Moderator of Typhon Networks, Former Staff Supervisor and Lead Server Developer of Centurion Networks, Former Senior Gamemaster (Server Roleplay Advisor) and Administrator on Burst Networks, Former Server Director of Dragoon Networks, as well as a Former Moderator on Revenant Networks.

Describe how you react to negative feedback, from constructive criticism to borderline harassment.

I take constructive feedback to heart; and personally consider to how it could improve myself (i.e. my events), for the better in the future.

In regards to borderline harassment however, I will still try to look for valid criticism in the possible fact that made such harassment happen in the first place. So even when it is considered just harassment, I still try to look for some truth in their (the harassers) statement that I could use for furthered improvement.

While planning a server-wide Event you realized that it would make hosting it much easier if you had another Gamemaster assisting you, and manage to get someone to help. Unfortunately 5 minutes before the Event is scheduled to begin, they messaged you and said they would be absent. How do you proceed?

Try to contact any other member of the Game Master Team (via Discord DMs), if they could possibly come to assist you in time for the event. If this is not possible, then I will have to manage the event on my own to the best of my ability.

While planning an Event, you decide to test some of the tools you think would be helpful. You go to the admin room, and start to experiment. Unfortunately, while testing with some NPCs the server crashed. How do you react?

Get in contact with my superiors about the situation, to make sure that it wasn't my "experiment" that caused the server to crash. If it was the source of the issue, then I would unquestionably apologize for such actions and report it through the accordingly-set proper channels.

An NCO has finished training a Recruit, but there are no COs or Staff online to provide the whitelist. What do you do?

Give the Recruit his/her whitelist (since I am assuming this is for the MPF UNION whitelist).

While hosting a server-wide Event you have implemented a RP section where players can interact with a computer in order to open a door. Unexpectedly, a CO decides that they would rather that door stay closed (Presumably so that the other side cannot continue), and orders that the computer be destroyed. Given that the door is essential to progressing your event, how do you react?

Try to talk to the CO about how that isn't going to be fair for anyone on the server, and how it wouldn't work in the grand scheme of things. If he persists, then I would possibly have to find some other solution to the problem with my GM Team superiors.

While hosting a server-wide Event, a CmD/MAJ decides that they dislike it, and begin to openly attempt to get players to refuse to participate. This reaches the point that there are almost no players participating on one side. How do you resolve the situation?

Contact my superiors about what I should do in this situation; until I get a response from them, I won't be interfering with it at all unless told otherwise by my superiors in the GM Team.

After hosting a server-wide Event, you are in the middle of a post-event Debrief when the COs present tell you to stop hosting your DB so they can host theirs. How do you react?

Tell them that you are trying to do a GM-related DB, so their regular DB will have to wait until yours is over and done with first (since you were already hosting it).

What permissions do Gamemasters have, both inside and outside of Events?

To host, co-host, oversee, and manage ongoing or upcoming events on the server. Even being online while outside events; GMs can still test new RP elements to be implemented onto future events, despite there not being any currently-active events on the server.

While preparing to host an Event, you notice that there are 3 vehicles deployed, and that the server is lagging a bit because of that. What do you do?

Check the map and the number of players on each side, to make sure that there isn't any inequalities being involved with the currently-deployed vehicles. If there is, demand either side to undeploy them depending on the situational conditions. You could also just kindly ask them to undeploy their vehicles for an upcoming event, and (hopefully) they will do so without much persistence. Once that all has been dealt with, you can begin hosting your event without as much lag as before.

Describe your design process of Events prior to queuing them.

I think of an event idea that no one has ever done before and then proceed to write it down on paper. I then show off the event idea on an already-made document to my friends, so they can tell me what they think about it. I then take my friends' criticisms into account, and propose it to my GM superiors. Once approved by my superiors, I will proceed to physically carry out the event from there (with extra assistance being provided by other members of the GM Team, if possible).

Create three Event ideas and describe them below. Be as detailed as you feel necessary. Originality is appreciated, and a lack of details will be penalized.

1. An armored black market merchant caravan carrying high-tier loot is traveling across the map; and it is either up to the Anarchists, Combine, or Rebels to claim that precious gear for themselves while it's on the move to it's escape route. Meaning; if you don't get it in time, it will disappear. And who are the accompanying merchants of the caravan? Well, they are heavily-armored and armed security guards of course! With each guard having a unique weapon classification to them (e.g. a sniper, a gunner, and a medic).

2. The Combine go out to investigate a possible rogue UNION underground after being assigned to do so by their COs at a DB earlier; but instead find a scientific anomaly, that has yet to have been ever discovered before by anyone on Earth or Overwatch (this event is to be hosted on the Pripyat map). And what is the scientific anomaly? It's a otherworldly creature with the special ability to naturally cloak itself! And it uses it's claws to fight against the invading Combine, who trespass on her rightfully-claimed territory! (i.e. the sewers) The Rebels or Anarchists could also participate in this event, for a possible chance to kill the monster and obtain a reward unique to their faction!

3. The Combine set up an in-field research station to investigate abnormal radio wave frequencies from a certain area, and it will take time for them to find out the source of these radio frequencies. And while doing so, their research operations begin to get suddenly disrupted by those pesky Rebels! They must defend themselves and the research station, until the process is complete so that they may receive a special reward from Overwatch for doing so. If the Rebels win by clearing out the entire area of Combine, and destroy the research station's very expensive equipment... they (i.e. the Rebels) will get rewarded instead of the Combine!

Bonus Event Idea (because I can): The Rebels have been assigned with setting up a hospital to provide the civilians with food, water, and medical care. However, the Combine have taken notice of this, and plans to disrupt their hospitable operations in assisting the local civil populace. As the Combine fears it's propaganda value. It is up to the Rebels to defend the hospital, and save as many civilian hostages' lives as possible until the Combine's time has run out to continue attacking them. And if they (i.e. the Rebels) succeed in doing this, they will be handsomely rewarded (the civilian hostages included too). But if the Combine win, the Rebels and civilians end up being the sore losers in the final situation's outcome.

How often do you think GMs should host events?

Once or twice a week.

Do you understand and accept the following clause: I will not leak Staff or Gamemaster information, I will not abuse my powers, and I will not break the Gamemaster rules. Additionally, I will add [DEFN] to my Steam name.

I understand.

Do you understand the basics of using ULX? List what you know.

Yes I do, but it's a long list. However, I will proceed to list some for you anyway:

Neutral.
Events seem to take no effort to host, not involving lore, just give civilians something and tell them to do something.
Answers for other questions are good though, good luck.

+1, more neutral though

Events need more than just "civilans doing x", they need more effort and time put into them, as well as expanding to both of the factions themselves.
Good luck.

the application is well-written enough and from what i've seen personally from you, your good and creative at doing work
however like Kenny said, the events could have more effort put into them. Event ideas are a big part of an application, so I suggest expanding on your event ideas, rather than just having one sentence basis's

Yeah; I do admit that I could have done better regarding the examples, for some of the event ideas listed in my application.
