What is your suggestion?
Make the footstep sound effect you hear when you run as Combine quieter.

How would this benefit the server?
Would be nice. Currently its annoying loud.
Something something rebe bias.

have to definitely agree, they are unnecessarily loud and alert the Rebels in a 2km radius of your Position and with little effort where your heading, while you cant hear anything unless its louder than your own footsteps, which normaly only guns, explosions and Vehicles can accomplish.

I sometimes mute my game because they give me a headache from being loud, also yeah they do have a pretty large radius for people to hear it.

It really feels like I'm wearing plastic bags on top of my boots when running around as MPF.

i dont play combine at all, but i can hear combines through two buildings quite easily. although heavier units such as pushback, or stealth units should keep the footstep loudness for balance imo
combine divisions like mpf, jury, cross, and grid do not need to have fat footsteps

From a balance perspective, it doesn't make any sense why Combine's steps are so much louder than the Resistance's.
