What's your reason for becoming Gamemaster?: I was recently in a player started event and really enjoyed it, was wondering if I could help others with such. Attempt to ignore the disrespect and take notes from peoples responses. A Combine CmD has openly expressed their distaste for an event you're doing at that moment. It has gotten to the point where he is actively disrupting your event. What is your course of action?: Attempt to improve the event, cancel it, or void him from the event. A Resistance Fighter starts PMing you with some questions about a recent event you've done. However, because you were AFK, he has started harassing you. What is your course of action?: Say that you were AFK, and ask if he can re ask the questions, if not. Ignore him. What are GM's permissions both inside and outside of events?: Nothing, They are to act like normal players until an event starts. You are hosting an important Post-Event DB and all of a sudden, the CO's ask you to leave so they can do their DB and exclude yours. What is your course of action?: Tell them that you need to finish your part, which will be short and then they can do there debrief. Say this in a positive manner. A Gamemaster who said he would be assisting you in an event later on today hasn't shown up and now the event is running behind schedule. What should you do?: Attempt to get anybody else who can help, if not do the event by yourself. After getting a green light on an event, you notice there are 3 vehicles deployed at once. It is causing a little lag, what is your course of action?: Attempt to remove one vehicle, if it is unbalanced, give one side a better vehicle to better oppose. What's the process GM's take before making events, from start to finish. (This is what YOU think) Think of the idea, ask a HGM if they approve, check if an event is happening that day, see if any tryouts or other ingame activities are happening, check with CO's, Ask people for event, begin event, finish event, write a report. A Resistance Captain is openly criticizing your event when he isn't in the event itself. It has gotten to the point where he is interrupting your important adverts relating to the event. What should you do?: Ask him to please stop, and that he is interrupting my event, without and proof of your accusations. If not, attempt to get an admin to deal with it. How often do you think GM's should host events?: 3+ a week. List three events that you might do if you get accepted (DETAILED AND BE ORIGINAL) [Campaigns and RP Situations are EXCLUDED] 1- (Continuing from a player started event) Obamium, a newly found chemical, has been found in certain place, (not sure), has been located and both sides must fight over it. 2 - The rebels are attempting to make a super soldier to battle their OSS units head on, Combine must raid their base to stop the production and kill the scientists and destroy the data. 3 - (Preferably next to map change) The combine are attempting to nuke the city to eliminate remaining forces, and the rebels must attempt to evade this warhead before it's too late, combine must stop their escape. First of all, sorry for not getting to you earlier! (GMs are lazy sometimes) but yeah.
Second of all, most of your answers are FINE but one sentence answers don't look good. They're about 70% so you're nearly there. Obamium is a meme and doesn't deserve an entire event, that would be retarded. Your map change event isnt great and we already have one planned. We've literally done a nuke map change before. Rebels making an OSS is interesting but them making synths isn't very good lore-wise and they already have EODs.
