List all (if any) previous punishments (Warns/Bans) I do not have any warns/bans
What is your reason(s) for applying for Gamemaster? I want to give to this community and i want to give the people of this server a fun time within events and i want to make more events like how i use to on a old server
Have you ever been Event Staff or something similar before? If so, list your previous positions. Yes i use to be a GM
Describe how you react to negative feedback, from constructive criticism to borderline harassment. I would say thank you for your feedback i will try my hardest to improve but if it goes to harassment i would say please stop this or i will be forced to contact staff
While planning a server-wide Event you realized that it would make hosting it much easier if you had another Gamemaster assisting you, and manage to get someone to help. Unfortunately 5 minutes before the Event is scheduled to begin, they messaged you and said they would be absent. How do you proceed? I would ask to see if any other Game Masters could assist if they could not i would go on with the event but i would make the event easier for me but still fun for the players and i would also put the event into a few spots and manage those spots then move to different spots ect
While planning an Event, you decide to test some of the tools you think would be helpful. You go to the admin room, and start to experiment. Unfortunately, while testing with some NPCs the server crashed. How do you react? i would firstly report the NPC to my higher ups and i would ask any GMS not to use it as it crashes the server i would then apologise on the main server and i would say "sorry for the recent crash this was due to a NPC that causes the crash the NPC has been reported and will hopefully be fixed or removed have a nice day"
An NCO has finished training a Recruit, but there are no COs or Staff online to provide the whitelist. What do you do? I would PM the NCO saying hi i will attempt to get a Staff member that can WL to log into the server and i would then go to the Recruit and say sorry but you will have to wait for a Staff member or somebody that can WL you i am trying my hardest to get a staff member on sorry for this again"
While hosting a server-wide Event you have implemented a RP section where players can interact with a computer in order to open a door. Unexpectedly, a CO decides that they would rather that door stay closed (Presumably so that the other side cannot continue), and orders that the computer be destroyed. Given that the door is essential to progressing your event, how do you react?
ask him to put the PC back and i would put a reminder saying "do NOT destroy the PC if you do multiple strike squads will come" but if he does not i would send 1 strider and a few more NPCs to collect the pc i would then put the PC back to were it should be and i would then talk to the CO and tell him to NOT do that again
While hosting a server-wide Event, a CmD/MAJ decides that they dislike it, and begin to openly attempt to get players to refuse to participate. This reaches the point that there are almost no players participating on one side. How do you resolve the situation? I would first make sure the other side is doing well and i would set more npcs up for them then i would go to the CmD/MAJ and ask what can i do to make this event better for you and your side i would then implement those ideas (if they are not to badly changing to the event)
After hosting a server-wide Event, you are in the middle of a post-event Debrief when the COs present tell you to stop hosting your DB so they can host theirs. How do you react? I would tell him that he can wait for a little longer i would then finish up and allow him to start his
What permissions do Gamemasters have, both inside and outside of Events? they can put down props/entities/npcs they can also tp/bring ect
While preparing to host an Event, you notice that there are 3 vehicles deployed, and that the server is lagging a bit because of that. What do you do? I would wait and if they do not destroy each other i would ask if they could RTB to help server lag be a minimum
Describe your design process of Events prior to queuing them. i would think of a idea i would then go into single player to make sure all the things work like how they should i would then add or remove stuff to make the event better then i would run it by another gm and i would then start the event
Create three Event ideas and describe them below. Be as detailed as you feel necessary. Originality is appreciated, and a lack of details will be penalized.
1. (SMALL EVENT) unknown humans 4 unknown ships enter the planet area they set up outposts around the area and grab weaponry combine need to stop 3 squads of the unknown humans from getting to a main system within one of the Combine outposts but the rebels need to stop these Unknown humans from stealing important data about the combine that the rebels have in there main base after around 10mins of normal combat i would ask two players to be mini bosses (around 5-7k hp) shotgun ect after they kill them the remaining unknown humans will run away and the event will end
2. (MEDIUM EVENT) The Rouge rebels a group of rebels from a different area land inside the rebel base and find some intel with a code that activates turning them into sleeper agent that work for combine they start to steal data but a warning comes up on the rebel radio saying hostile sleeper agents have been spotted they are wearing (what the current actors are wearing) after some combat the sleeper agent rebels call for help and more rouge agents come with a heli and apcs after they die the sleeper agents ask for combine help (the combine faction will hopefully assist the sleeper agents ) the rebels would kill the sleeper agents and the event would end
3. (SMALL EVENT PASSIVE) a scavenger comes to the area and starts asking for items to buy he then goes into active gunfight and steals items off dead body's to sell to the other team he then leave after 20mins
How often do you think GMs should host events? 3 times a week depending on player count
Do you understand and accept the following clause: I will not leak Staff or Gamemaster information, I will not abuse my powers, and I will not break the Gamemaster rules. Additionally, I will add [DEFN] to my Steam name. Yes
Do you understand the basics of using ULX? List what you know. !bring !goto !strip !give !cloak !noclip ect
Neutral
Chief I gotta be real here, who are you? Even so, some of the beginning answers are barebones. Improve upon that, as well as getting yourself a bit more recognition (and some punctuation) and you'll be good.
Edit: It looks as though you've only been in the resistance discord since yesterday. Definitely solidify yourself in the community before making an application.

Unfortunately, I do have to deny this. Regardless of your intentions, it is hard to imagine a player who the earliest logs of any activity are from yesterday with a promotion not having some ulterior motive for trying to join GM, or that you'd be a good fit within GM due to your lack of experience on the server. I have no idea if that's true or not, but you can feel free to reapply in two weeks and whenever you have some additional experience that would reflect well on you as a member of the server.
I do have feedback on your Application beyond that as well. -Firstly, as I do with nearly every application I deny, I recommend you send your application though a simple Word or Google document to make use of the spellcheck functions. Doing so will remove almost all of the small errors that I routinely find in nearly every application. It is also helpful to format your application to separate the Questions and your Answers for ease of reading by the people who will leave reviews and eventually those who accept/deny the application (Me).
-Your answers to the questions had a few correct points that somewhat surprised me as most more experienced players miss them. To that point, most of your answers were technically correct, though your presentation of them occasionally confused me.
Event Feedback: -Generally, events that involve "Boss Monsters" tend to go poorly, either through the boss slaughtering all the players, or though the players obliterating the boss. The rest of this event seems like it may be interesting, your description makes it a bit difficult to understand exactly what you intended to describe, but the general concept is there. -The problem with the more passive style of events that require drawn out combat is that drawn out combat does not really exist on CvR. The game moves very quickly, and once you start getting shot you're almost certainly either going to die or kill whoever shot at you, which for a small group of people means game over 9 times out of 10. -This event is basically just a generic store event. Store events require possibly the lowest effort out of any event you could host, and generally don't result in particularly good or bad outcomes in terms of player participation or enjoyment.
