What is your suggestion? A: Nerfing MK2 Carbine damage.
How would this benefit the server? A: At the moment the MK2 Carbine can legit win vs a sniper quite easily as it's able to 2 shot allot of units that have less then 280-300 hp. Yes it's a paid weapon so it should be good but not this good, so I suggest nerfing it a small bit so it's actually a 3 shot for any unit with the lowest hp. 4 for medium and then yea 5-6 the heavy ones.
Now this comes from someone who actually has the MK2 so no I'm not being jealous of it, but it's just go good of a weapon that needs some small balance.
i've never used the mk2 but from the encounters i had with people using it against me it really seemed like a very strong weapon that has a similar range of a sniper rifle, so i was outranged by it when i was using an inventory DMR aswell (scar 6.5 conversion and FAL), and being outdamaged, so i'd suggest if not a damage nerf, then a range nerf.

to add onto that a CW nerf, i think having 1 CW for what it is seems kind of op, maybe putting it at 2 CW could be more reasonable

The addition of MWB gave supporter a weapon that made supporter go from a position where people freely give money to upkeep the server to one where people just bought supporter for the weapon. The MK2 is ridiculous in all aspects for a p2w weapon. It has 1 CW, does VERY similar damage to the KAR/SPR, has sniper range (better than dragunov) and has a fairly fast firerate.
I normally wouldn’t comment on forum posts regarding weapon balance or anything, but being able to pay for a sniper, especially on this current map pool where long range absolutely dominates, is very unfair to non-supporter players.
A change I would recommend is upping its carryweight to around 6-7, and cutting its range down by a ton. It shouldn’t be viable in anything that isn’t close to mid range.

I did not know it only had 1 CW, even then I thought it was quite strong and annoying to fight, but now that I know that it just seems like a straight up p2w weapon.
+1 It was a passable issue on the old maps, but the new maps, particularly forest apoc and betaworks have made this weapon's range, damage output, and the fact anybody can equip it at will with it's CW a more and more prevalent issue.

The MK2 at the moment is a big F U to Rangers, Rebel SNPs, Cross, LVET Marksman and both assassin classes. (mfw a Rogue Unit snipes you across Map)
