FULL RP Name(s): Cringe Lord SNP PFC Minutes, MPF BALLISTA 09 4901

Discord Username: Shutdown#6921

Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:514952312

What region/timezone are you located in? GMT-3 Buenos Aires

Previous Warns? 1 warn for RDM, 1 for RDM x2 and one for Power Gaming

Previous Bans? A 2 day ban for reaching the RDM warn max

Why do you want to be part of the staff team?
I want to be part of the staff team because, at least at the times I'm on, they seem fairly overworked. I find it rare when there's more than 2 staff members at the same time (Not counting gamemasters).
I would like to handle the petty squabbles, harassment and the like that happen a little bit too much for my liking.
I would also like to help out with the small stuff, like someone getting stuck or color a stolen vehicle and such.
Overall I just want to help people and "educate" people that are maybe not so strong in the ole' rule book and end up breaking a few, nothing wrong with that. Doesn't make you a murderer or anything (unless it's RDM, you can be assured I'll be contacting Actual Cannibal Shia Labeouf to come split your head open with his mighty axe).
Also also I'm watching you spawn campers  Heart

Why should you be accepted on the staff team? Because I've been studying the rules and you can be assured I will play by them and enforce them, no matter who's breaking them.
I also bothered to read the constitution. When was the last time anyone ever read that amirite gamers?
I care enough of what people think of me to put in the effort to listen and, if I find it that they're in the right, try and change.
I can be respectful (and professional enough) when I need to and I haven't gone in a rant towards someone I don't like in months! (Now that's a record!)
I'm also a very fast learner, so any commands or procedures won't into an ear and straight through the other.
I hate these "why should we accept you" parts because you're kinda giving yourself a hand job (I never said I was ALWAYS professional)

Do you understand that you must change your Steam name to "[DEFN] (Username)" upon getting accepted? Yep

Any staff who can vouch for you? No way Jose

An MPF Union kills a Civilian but you don't know the reasoning behind the killing.
What do you do?

Assuming I just witnessed the killing first hand.
I TP to the civilian, being invisible of course, and ask him. If the civ doesn't know then I'll ask him if he had an issue with it. IF he says yes then I'll start a sit with both of them and try to get to the bottom of it.
On the possible situation that it may have been RDM and: The victim doesn't care, the UNION is remorseful, and he apologises I'll let it go with a reminder of the RDM rules and a verbal warning. If the Union does it again he will be warned.
If the Union is remorseful but the victim wants him punished then he will be warned and reminded of the rules.
In addition, if the UNION killed the civ for SU checking or refusal of ID checking outside of base he will be warned for Fail RP and RDM and the very mean question in OOC chat of "WHO TRAINED THIS UNION!!!!"
On the possibility that this civilian was part of a KOS'd organisation then it was justified.
On the possibility of the civilian being on a CL1 area and refused to leave/entered after being warned not to the Union will be regarded as the hero that stopped a civilian from entering the PC office for the 100th time.

Assuming I saw the killing on the kill feed.
Wait for the ticket, if the civilian complains on OOC chat I'd encourage them to make a ticket. But other than that I won't interfere if people clearly don't want me to.

An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?

I TP him away into a sit and explain him that he can't do that. If the reason REALLY was to defect then I'll leave it with a strong recommendation not do it again. If a combine had an issue with the ruling we will talk about his punishment, the victim should have some sort of say on it. If he actually killed someone I'll warn him for Fail RP, Spawn killing/RDM.
If he acts like he's gonna do it again, aka he doesn't care I'll flat out punish them.
If he apologises and no one has an issue with him doing that, and its his first offence, I'll give him a verbal warning.
If he lied to me and the reason was something dumb like some sort of self imposed infiltration mission he's getting a warn.

If they broke any other rules during this defection then I'll punish them fully for all broken rules, for example: if an SU had infiltrated at the same time of this happening and the H.E.C.U. tells the combine their identity.
I'll also direct him to his COs, that sort of behaviour would be CK worthy if he really wanted to defect  Cool

You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?

I wouldn't concern myself too much with that because that's not allowed to, although I'll ask him not to say that kind of stuff because it's against the rules.
If he stops with the threats and apologises nothing will come of it.

If he doesn't stop his superiors will be warned of said behaviour.
If he goes through with it then I'll warn him for fail RP/Meta game and again notify their superiors.
If it was said jokingly then I don't really care, but I'll advise him not to do that again, other people might yell at him.
If I was wrong, and he DID actually let the faction know on team chat he will have my sincerest apology and I'll bring him back. People get mad when they're accused of breaking rules they haven't broken.
If he has a history of meta gaming (aka pulling the demotion trick he did on me) He'll get the warning for meta game and his superiors will be notified.

A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?

Ban them all with the mighty ban hammer, vain of them all. (as an Operator I can't actually do it but y'know what I mean)
I'd take it seriously, because it's a serious thing. You don't do that, even if you've been a member of the community for several months and VIP++++++++ and donated $10000000000000 buckaroos, people go crazy sometimes, we all remember that one Ranger CO whose name I don't remember.
I would start by obviously IP banning them forever and ever, and BEG for people not to do the copy pasta meme. Then to warn management, because if they do DDOS/Raid then I'm not gonna be able to do much by myself, besides they have the right to know such things, preparing for these things can do wonders.

You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?

First record what they're doing, then check the rules.
if it is allowed then good.
if it isn't then I'll warn them of what they're doing, no one is perfect, sometimes you forget the rules. If then they begin to abuse their position I'll report them to an H.A+
If on the other hand the staff member recognises their mistake then it's all fine, I doubt any rule that could be broken by high staff is severe enough for a warning.

However, if the rule being broken was a big deal; like egregious Fail RP/Meta gaming (Calling out SUs after dead or by checking the tab menu); RDM (Randomly killing a civilian because they suspected they were an anarchist/SU) or exploiting their behaviour along any evidence will be sent to an H.A+.

EDIT-1: Added more if's scenarios and expanded some pre-existing ones, fixed some typos and probably added a whole lot more.

EDIT-2: Somehow missed the last 2 scenarios during my last edit. Working on them now.

EDIT-3: Expanded the last 2 scenarios to reflect better what I meant.

EDIT-4: Expanded all scenarios. Re-did some from scratch, fixed A LOT of typos. Changed "questions" to "scenarios" on my edit logs :p

EDIT-5: Changed EDIT-3 to EDIT-4. Added a tad bit more to the other questions that aren't scenarios to more reflect a little bit of how I feel about stuff.

General lack of detail on the app, go above and beyond with the "What-if" answers instead of just "One or the other"
