For the past week the combine have been ruthless, forming groups of 50-100 unions and making them push through with nothing but stun sticks and their endless will power. While it seems silly on paper, it has been proven effective against the Resistance, as they have lost multiple outposts, access to resources, and trading posts due to these suicide charges. The Universal Union have also upgraded on their earth technology, bringing in synthetic vehicular-like tanks, aircraft, and have created multiple strongholds holding rations, guns, and potential prisoners as well. Due to this, leadership came together and decided that they needed a division that could shut down mass infantry groups, wreck these newly developed vehicles, and destroy Combine outposts by using the minimal amount of resources needed. Meet:

RESISTANCE MARAUDERS

The Marauders consist of 5 subdivisions, each with gadgets and specialties so every Marauder is better in a specific field and situation than the other. The subdivisions consists of:
  • Saboteur
  • Spartan
  • Infiltrator
  • Hunter
  • Mechanic

A saboteur's strength is in their ability to ambush their enemies. Their main role is to place down traps and explosives to break down supply lines, vehicles, and distraught infantry, making them paranoid of the very ground they step on. Whilst squishy, they make up for with their speed and weaponry, being the perfect class for ambushing.
