Why should we remove warn/ban?
During grace period on C17 I made the silly decision to blow myself up using slams for laughs while we waited to play the game. I was under the impression that the slam was only going to kill me as previously that's how it worked, not knowing that was a bug and that Sentinel had already fixed it at some point resulting in me killing 3 or so other people around me. I understand that I had gotten too silly and that rules are rules, thus moving forward I will refrain from using utilities/items that could potentially result in the killing of my teammates.
It is understandable that you would assume the SLAM would do no damage since it did function that way in the past, though exploding your teammates should be discouraged regardless.
