Why do you want to be part of the staff team?:

I have been a staff before and I played my role in the job well, was the most active operator on the server at the time and handled cases accordingly but yet I still lost the position. Although I think the reason for my removal was unfair, I won't complain because that'd be of no use to anyone and so, I'll do what was instead reccommended to me upon my removal - to reapply and attempt to get my position back. I think now, that that's a good idea. 

As stated before in my old application, I still hold the same morals that I had that while ago (Wanting to improve, help others).

Why should you be accepted on the staff team:

From my time as staff on the server previously I've had experience enough to know the dos and don'ts of staffing from that week experience as an operator, so I know the procedures and how everything works which makes me a good candidate for this job considering that I'm in a position to know how to do things, what to do and how to perform tasks efficiently as a staff member.
On top of that, I'm currently playing the most rule heavy classes in the game: MACE and SU requiring good knowledge in the rules to be able to play them accordingly and have also been in NPU, another class requiring fairly decent knowledge of rules concerning metagame, failrp etc.
I've had some experience in how to handle things from Daniel and Sakura, both Heads of Staff at the time and I hopefully assume knowledgeable in what to do as staff.

What do you do?:

Bring both members of the case to an area that's free of conflict e.g The small area above the map / the large area below it and start interrogating the two. The options that will be revealed are:


Civillian has no evidence - Insufficient to give punishment

UNION has counter evidence that proves the Civ lies - Punishment applied to civillian (Warn for lying to staff)

Civ has evidence, UNION can't disprove - Punishment for UNION (Warn for RDM)

Civ has evidence, UNION able to give an acceptable counter argument - Both sides learn from encounter, returned to original locations


An H.E.C.U. Soldier enters the Combine base to "RP defect".
How do you proceed as a staff member?:

Explain as clearly as possible to the HECU that RP defection isn't allowed, and answer any questions he has about why. For example:

Why am I not allowed to defect?: Previous situations like this which have happened where a player has wanted to defect resulted in serious messes where there was a solution which was undesired by many players and generally left a bad taste people's mouths. This is seen in the RAZOR defection to become RUE on the resistance side, which was utter chaos.

Will I ever be able to defect?: Most likely this will not become a thing that can be done. However, if an NPU captures you they may brainwash you, which is similar to defection but it will only be temporary and is always reverted if a medic can cure you of it.

After I'm done explaining anything I issue a warn for Failrp, considering that HECU requires some fair knowledge of the server to get into (hopefully)


You find a SU/MACE CO infiltrating without notifying their team in chat. You bring them into a sit to talk to them about breaking the rules. In this sit the CO threatens to demote your RP character if you don't let them go.
How do you handle this?:

At first I begin by using NVIDIA Shadowplay to record the past 30 seconds of what they said and keep it as evidence. I then start recording the events that follow. I describe to him what he's doing, and I notify him of the repercussions that come with doing what he has done. Post this situation, I continue on with the sit and warn him for failrp (not notifying team breaks rp, where it should have been done)

After this is over and they're warned, I contact their higherups (Heinz/Ajax) and provide them with the evidence needed to take action against them.

A group of players comes onto the server and threatens to DDOS or raid it.
What do you think you should do?:

Given I have the permissions, I permaban players that threaten to DDOS. In the event that a player threatens to raid the server, I issue a 1 month ban instead. There's time enough to file a complaint on the forums if this was unjust/to appeal

You see a high ranking staff member doing something questionable, but you don't know if it is allowed.
What do you do?
:

I use my recording software to capture what I think isn't allowed. Given the rank of the player, I go as follows:
SA = report to HA
HA = report to STL
STL = report to (Head of Affairs) , corrected to Director of Personnel from Destitute / Upper Management excluding ICK because fuck i

Seriously though, This is a well written application, and Nil has been a friendly and funny person. I think he would make a great member of the staff team. From his bans, it seems he turned over a new leaf.

STL doesn't report to the Head of Affairs (I believe you mean Director of Affairs), they're a separate department. Rather, the STL reports to the Personnel Supervisor and Director of Personnel.
