Outlands sucks. It's sniper-heavy and vehicle-heavy, and is entirely empty at low player counts. Travel times are awful and have nothing in-between, which means the aforementioned sniper problem is even more prevalent. The only good thing about the map is how much players focus on the tunnels, and even that is less than 1/10th of the map as a whole.
Pripyat is filled with structures (most of which have interiors), has plenty of flanking routes, cool interactable objects, a functional sewer system, and doesn't make snipers or vehicles impossible to play.
People who like outlands are actually just C13R fans who like the CQC aspect of the tunnels and ignore everything else.

With the help of some of the passengers, the cabin crew managed to subdue the man, and tie his hands with a piece of cloth for the rest of the flight. One of the passengers captured the moment with his phone. Although airline officials refuse to confirm details of the incident, the photo of a man with his bottom sticking out of his pants and hands tied up emerged online. The disruptive passenger was arrested on arrival.

I honestly like outlands. Tunnels are really fun and it easily has the best bases. Main issues is it's sniper and air vehicle (plus Hunter and strider) hell.
