What is your suggestion? A: Basically OSE and Anarch have been fucked over while Vort was made pretty damn good. OSE is just better UNION, Anarch is better civ, and Vort is its own class with multiple playstyles. Change up how they work a bit, we didnt pay to just have a few classes we wont use. Return factions and rank systems to the classes.
POSSIBILITIES FOR MAJOR CHANGES- OSE: Give it the intended beta weapon- the spear rifle. Can only heal via repair tool/revival not possible and have 1k HP. Spear rifle: 15% faster and more melee damage, +20% higher spread for 3 seconds after taking damage. Instead of sprinting, you gain a CHARGE ability that restricts you to melee and has you charge forward and does 75 damage/second to the target for the duration of the charge (3 seconds) Cooldown of 20 seconds
Vort: Still have the vort cannon options as usual, reverted attack speed and has power meter with 8 bars that prevents attacks after it is depleted with a 4 second recharge. Standard- 2 bars. Strength- 4 bars. Vision- All 8, does the same amount of damage as the assassin rifle on bodyshot. Unable to sprint, able to self heal for 50HP which takes 8 bars.
Anarch: Unable to steal from lockers, instead scavenge weapons by pressing E on corpses. Have a 5 minute timer for looting bodies after death. Hack terminals in PC/leadership offices with 45% to have your position revealed to the hacked team every 15 seconds, 25% to lose 5 of any material and be marked to ALL TEAMS as anarch for 1 life, 25% to create an intercom message and steal 100 resources (converted to 5 of any material), 5% to recieve any class weapon/SWEP aside from vortbeam and cloak, only applicable if no weapon is equipped and weapons cannot be stolen until death. Disguise swep availible from 5% since why the hell wouldnt an anarch be able to disguise?
How would this benefit the server? A: It would add more incentive to play the classes which were PAID FOR and have a terrible play rate aside from anarch. Ofc these values can be tweaked, I am shit at balancing. Also it provides more than just a “Haha look at me I look cool because I paid” Is it stupid? Fuck yes. Do I expect for ANY part of the suggestion to be put in effect? No lmao.
The whole thing is kinda overcomplicated and not all that engaging man, anarch sounds like ass to play with this setup especially. All the class is, is being a deceptionist civ, not Sam Fisher or some shit.
I have to agree that OSE kinds sucky tho, sounds dumb and annoying to play and fight though with your suggestion. Imagine freely deploying with 1k health stock no perks just because you have VIP. Absolute aids and hitting P2W levels

Just reread what I wrote and yea I see what you mean. Ofc its not really just like a “Yeah you gotta do this” and more of tossing a couple separate ideas together that serve as a sort of conversation point just to see what the community is thinking and set up a more balanced suggestion overall. Also im sure things can be done to make perks simply just not apply to OSE and Vort if it is that much of a problem, otherwise I dont see much problem with them being a close-mid ranged tank class that cant be healed or revived. Things can be done about free deployment and make them need perms to deploy.

Honestly, no.
They won't be able to be healed by medkits, you wouldn't be able to revive them, and they'll mostly be a melee based class.
Maybe 1k is too much but around 500-600 is a good HP for a melee class since they won't get a speed buff either.
Make the range of the spear-rifle a midrange weapon like a pistol range and I think we'll be good.
As for vort, add them the ability to slowly regen other people's hps just like in the actual game. Could be cool.
Making it slow would mean Syringe gun would still be superior and attack vorts would still be useful to the team

These suggestions would be extremely complicated to implement and in all honesty is not required to “fix” the classes in their current state.
OSE/Vort do not need ranks whatsoever, it’s been done twice for vort and once for OSE.
Both classes got rid of them for the same reason of:
No one cared, you can’t really order them around, people didn’t WANT to be CO since it took a character slot.
And is overall just a supplementary class.
It’s also quite difficult to balance OSE/Vort considering they both don’t have access to inventory weapons yet need to stay as an “equivalent”
And adding access for one and not the other would seem kinda unbalanced.
While I will argue OSE could be more enticing load-out wise it’s still solid as is.
Buffed union with no CO’s or AC’s?
It’s not GOOD but it is definitely a nice alternative.

As for a anarchist factions, while a interesting idea, it has proved to be…
Odd.
Most anarchist factions end up aligning with one side or another because the leader mains one side, or they are done as a joke.
They have never been reliable or a big addition to gameplay save for KGB.
Which is probably what most people refer to when referencing factions.
Personally I feel like any and all anarchist factions should NOT be aligned with a main faction.
Considering firstly it’s in the name “anarchist” and their primary focus isn’t really that of assisting a faction.
favoritism/balance are also a point of contention (obviously depends on faction membership/activity)
which adds something else for people to complain about.
And the last things is anarchs getting weapons on spawn.
Personally I say no because it is god awful, + with the perk system can make anarch a absolute nuisance and just honestly not fun to fight against. (Not that is fun to fight to begin with)
But I think in terms of grand gameplay more or less neutral.
Anarchs have the capability to steal GOOD weapons and have perks which people don’t see the potential in.
Imagine using the infiltrator synergy on anarchist.

vortigaunt shoots insanely slow, try playing vortigaunt trust me its not really "damn good" anymore. on the other hand i do not understand why people keep on saying OSE is bad, the gun has physically no recoil, has an awesome grenade launcher and the DMG is MID.
