You very well may be right that this isn't the solution, but it's currently the best I could come up with. Especially considering quite a few of the other solutions offered have been either "it isn't actually a problem" (despite the mountain of evidence that it is), or "just give up", or "idk but it isn't this"- it's a solution that can easily be reverted, and thus is worth trying.
I've tried everything else, so at this point I have to resort to throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. It's definitely a messy, but eventually something will stick.
Yeah you raise some very good points. I definitely didn’t mean any of this as “you shouldn’t implement anything”. The only suggestions I could come up with were some kind of incentives for people to join squads, such as more passive exp/credits for being in a full squad or more rewards per kill if you assist a squad mate with a kill.
