It’s a general norm when making these suggestions not to say “no one likes doing this” as you have no way of knowing what other people think of it.
That being said I say -1 cuz I personally don’t mind running back to base to deliver the command resource, it captures a point infinitely faster than standing there than solo capping and it changes up the gameplay a bit rather than just run and kill in the field.

I've seen people ignore them. I have captured points with groups, and we would move on without even touching the thing. I have come back to the same place repeatedly, and without fail have observed a constant: the resource cache would be there untouched.
Considering my observations, I would call you the exception.
What's the point in removing them and not replacing them with anything if they aren't a problem and are used by other players.
Unless a better system is suggested it's a cool way of getting some mats, EXP, and credits that is unique and more challenging than shooting a box.

A: Remove resource caches (the command objectives you have to pick up and bring back to base)

they are pretty good if you collect multiple so most of the time i take them
